Wayne designed my website for my new business and was very understanding and patient with me changing my mind about what I wanted and with my lack of computer knowledge. I was not at all impressed with SMRT. I had an 800 watt power supply that did not work in a fairly premium Cyberpower system. I told them it did not work. as bridging pin 16 and 17 did not activate the fan. I brought it to them, and got charged 100 dollars plus tax and was told the power supply does not work. No, they could not replace the power supply, their option was to have me discard the PC. I had asked if they could back up the data off the hard drive. They could not. I then purchased a little device from Amazon into which you can plug a hard drive for 39 dollars and was able to retrieve the data. Did they not know this device exists??? Very underwhelmed.Unfortunately, your response does not reflect what both my husband and I agree occurred . You did not mention you had it on your bench for two hours. I actually phoned Mobile computer to ask about recovering the data after we left your office, as you did not offer this service to us ( our machine was labelled as too old) ... then decided just to buy the Amazon device. A case of he said.. she said.. but again, perhaps if you had spent the time when we picked it up.. telling me for example it shut down when you tested it there would have been another outcome. All we were told was that you tested the power supply, it was dead. Perhaps you should do a wee bit of training on communication of the non computer variety with staff?
