My husband took a ring to resized and was given the price. Shortly after the owner phoned and needed to raise the price considerably (by at least 60%) due to the rings design. Okay , we accepted this and good that he called.My husband came home and the ring fit well.HOWEVER: I had this ring custom made for him, 18K white gold, with a custom textured finish. It came back with a very high glossy shiny finish, The texturing was gone. I am upset.My husband returned to let him know there was a problem with his polishing of the ring. He offered to make it satin for an additional cost.He did not apologize, rather said I didn't notice" ...Needless to say

I stopped in today because I wanted to move some of my online ordering of precious metals to support a local business in town. As a first try with a new business I was only going to order a small quantity (20-40oz) but I was basically told that the couple bucks" they would make off my order wasn't worth their time to handle it

Top notch service! They created a beautiful Ruby heart ring for my wife from a gem I brought in myself. They designed and crafted a piece that is simple and exactly fit the gem. Thanks for the great work

We had them do some appraisals of some of our jewelry and sold them a few pieces of gold jewelry that contained synthetic stones. They treated us fairly in every way, including helping us sort real (valuable) items from costume items. We threw some real items in with some costume items and they pulled the out and identified them to us. We then trusted them to sort the rest. Good people and fair pricing.

Bastion advertises itself as an appraiser of jewellery, but, when I brought in a ring which I had a problem with and needed an expert report for (to be able to return it to the seller) and explained the situation, the bearded gentleman first told me that It's a case of 'buyer beware'" and then refused to take on the work
