I cannot recommend Gabbi enough! I always leave feeling and looking amazing. When I walked into edges doors I was super unhappy with the state of my hair. Gabbi did a very thorough consultation with me and helped me achieve all my hair goals! She gave me so many amazing tips on how to repair damage and I cannot believe how much healthier my hair has gotten. She is also super sweet and easy to talk to, I always have a great time when I’m sitting in her chair!

We recently visited Edge Salon, and it was a phenomenal experience. I absolutely love this salon; it provides a very relaxing environment with friendly faces all around. My hair cut with Ashley was an amazing experience. She is incredibly professional, and I'm in love with my new hairdo. I also had a chance to experience their nail spa that day, and I must say, Svitlana is excellent at her job.

Absolutely amazing service and haircuts. Omar does such a great job every time I'm there. However, I recommend never buying a product from them. Bought some skincare from them, took it home and the SPF moisturizer was rock solid. Turns out it expired more than 2 years ago. On my next appointment, since I live far from the salon, I went in and asked for an exchange/refund. They told me that mineral SPF was fine to use well after its expired, which is 100% wrong. If something has an expire date, there's a reason. They then told me they would not refund it because it was 6 weeks since I was there and it was fine to use... The rock of a moisturizer was fine to use. Apparently my refund had an expiry, but SPF is just a suggestion. Not until I told them to cancel my appointment and that I was never coming back did they begrudgingly give me a gift card for the value. Will come back for the great haircuts, but that's it.Update: After their highly unprofessional response to this review, I am changing this to a would not recommend. At no point did I throw anything at anybody. Selling expired products no matter the reason and not accepting returns is not okay. Especially with something like sunscreen that loses effectiveness. Deeply saddened that this is the response from a business that I was looking forward to supporting for years

I am very happy that at last I’ve found the great nail therapist, Svitlana Pilhui, very accurate and attentive. That is the quality of manicure I am used to in Ukraine, but couldn’t find here, in Canada, until now. I receive compliments and feel so confident! My nails look gorgeous!And many thanks for the atmosphere in the salon. You feel royal here!

I took my daughter in for a cut by her regular hairdresser and noticed an ad running on the tv at reception for a hair product that featured black women with natural curls. I was on the hunt for a backup hairdresser for when mine decides to retire and enquired as to if there was stylist who specialized in black hair, I was introduced to Mike. He had assured me and was very confident that he could cut my curls, and more importantly, he had experience cutting and working with natural black hair. I hadn’t had a cut in a while and was looking forward to getting it cut and properly styled. I was very confident in his skills based on what he told me so I booked an appointment. I took great pride in my natural black hair and had not relaxed, coloured, blow dried or even flat ironed it in almost 8 years, and I was in love with the thick curls that had taken me so long to grow out after doing the ‘big chop’.I brought a photo (as requested) of what I was looking for and he had agreed that the style would work best with my curl type. As he was cutting, I was good with how he was shaping it but the fact that he had it washed before cutting, my hair had stretched and was definitely longer. He must be aware of how much my hair would shrink or how the shape would change once it dried, as black curly hair does, but he would already know this based on his extensive years of experience working with black hair, right?He cut and thinned it out and I can understand thinning out a bit based on the style but it was hard to tell how much he actually thinned out until I attempted to style it at home. As he cut, a lot of hair fell, not usual since I have... had a lot of hair. Once it came to styling, my hair was not styled based the photo I brought. He asked me how I styled it, put some gel in my hand, I applied it in my hair and he did the same, which I thought was a bit strange, but ‘he' was the stylist, not me and that’s what I was paying for, plus I brought a picture, giving him an idea of how I wanted it styled. In the end, it was so frizzy with a few sad looking twists and it looked absolutely nothing like the picture I brought in. When you bring in a picture, it works as a guideline for the stylist but there was no similarity to the photo whatsoever, the same photo he felt would work best with my curl type. I paid for the cut with tip and left. I went home to see what was going on and to properly style it, only to realize he completely butchered my hair!! He thinned it out so much that it looked like there was breakage everywhere, a big mistake for my type of curls. He had assured me that I could do a 'wash and go' or a ‘twist out' and I could barely do either, and when I did, it looked absolutely terrible, thin and wispy. My hair that took almost 8 years to grow out was completely ruined!!!I wrote a email to Edges and they responded in a very timely manner. They apologized for my experience and fully refunded me. This one star rating has nothing to do with how Edges handled my situation but it is based on the dissatisfaction of my cut, which was so bad that I had to get the cut redone with a different stylist, and now I have very short hair. I know, it’s only hair and it will grow back but I am still absolutely, furious!! I am so upset by this because it took such a long time to get my hair to that point, and now I will have to basically start over again. I have no doubt, based on reviews that their clients have had positive experiences but mine was far from it. Would I recommend Edges for black hair, absolutely NOT! I would never want another black women to go through what I just went through. When I style my hair or come across pictures of my previous curls, I feel angry and will always have the biggest regrets for ever letting Mike cut my hair.

Very enjoyable and relaxing experience at Edges Salon & Spa. The atmosphere is for sure the first thing you notice when you arrive. Personally, I very much appreciate a luxurious setting, with soft lighting, fancy pedicure chairs and some measure of privacy. It was my first time but most definitely will be returning. Brenda did an amazing job on my pedicure and the foot massage was most relaxing (Thank You Brenda). I will be returning.

Ever since my husband gave me a gift certificate to this spa in 2008, I have been coming here and have always left extremely satisfied. Jenny is incredible at making you fully relaxed with her massages. Elham is amazing with her pedicures, my feet always feel silky smooth afterwards. I have been seeing Brenda for my nails for nearly a year and consistently get compliments when I get my nails done. She takes her time and gives attention to the smallest of details. I’m always excited to make my next appointment with her and see what amazing designs she comes up with. If you go to see her, give her artistic license and you will not leave disappointed!!Everyone here is always happy and make you feel like part of the family. Love it!! ❤️❤️

I’ve always left Edges feeling amazing and beyond happy with my experience and results. The spa is beautiful, newly renovated and they give the best facials and pedicures. I also have seen almost everyone in the salon and have never been disappointed. They use the best products and know what they’re doing. Everyone is so friendly from the moment you walk in too! From start to finish, the experience is unlike anything else.

Tuesday I had a pedicure at Edges salon & spa and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The lady who did my pedicure was incredibly skilled and attentive to detail. They made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process and paid close attention to my needs and preferences. I left feeling rejuvenated and with extremely relaxed feet. I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a top-notch pedicure experience, and a special shoutout to Brenda lynn for her excellent service!"
