CIBC Branch with ATM

I have deposited cash at their ATM and the money is never posted. I didnt receive my money to my bank account. The atm ate my 230 dollars. I tried calling the branch and they never answer phone calls.

Frustrating that the ATMs at this location are not open after hours. Not sure if this is some new Covid restriction, but makes it hard to do banking if you're unable to do it during business hours. Updated to say that the tellers at this location give incorrect information about how to track wire transfers which leads the customer to waste hours of their time. Getting pretty close to wanting to close my accounts with this branch and CIBC

Don’t go here, I’ve been getting cheques for my disabled sister for over a year with no problems, first time I go here and all the sudden it’s against policy even though she’s in the hospital and I need to get her cheque in asap and I have id they’re so unhelpful and ableist

Absolutely garbage branch, idk about other branches but this one is pure waste of time. No one working here knows what they are doing, simplest of tasks and they’ll gather 4 different people to do it and in the end tell you to come after 1 month. And when you do follow, same thing repeats and its an endless loop. If you value your time and money, avoid CIBC.

They used covid as an excuse to reduce their operating hours. I want to withdraw my US funds because their exchange rate is so bad that I can save $100s in fees by converting with another institution, but they don't keep large amounts of cash on hand so I have to call ahead to do this, but they don't answer the phone or return my call. They only deliver cash if you convert currency (thereby paying their exorbatant exchange fee).

AVOID Dhruvi Barot (registars at this branch, but may travel to other branches) due to her unfamiliarity of CIBC's promotions and products. I was attracted by the $300 open-account bonus last summer and went to the CIBC at Commerce Place, Downtown. I explicitly mentioned to her that I came for the promotion and trused her to take care of my business. The bonus didn't hit my account after 4 months; thus, I followed up with her. She asked me to wait another month, and then she would step in and take care of the issue. She hasn't replied to any of my messages since then. I was just told today by another rep that my account was not eligible for the promotion. I should have stayed with RBC/gone with other banks. At least their reps are fully capable of understanding client's needs and their own policies.

Avoid Dhruvi, she is a condescending woman who acts like she knows everything about your finances and insanely rude to clients. Constantly acts as though she is better than other people. Honest very poor employee screening and management. No wonder this branch and Dhruvi have no many bad reviews. Never coming here again.

The worst bank service. Non-Cooperative bank staff Highly not recommended.

I love this nice branch. Neat and tidy. Staff are helpful. Very quite not crowded. You don't wait too long to get everything done. I remember branch manager used to welcome clients and guiding them how to reach out to the right agent. Thank you so much for serving us.

The bank teller was nice, but when I went to get a replacement debit card she decided to switch my account type without my permission or even mentioning it. Not a great surprise when I got home. Spent 3 hours on the phone with CIBC subsequently to get my account switched back because the branch was closed by the time I noticed.
