Party City

I went in for some decorations, and was surprised by what they had. They had so many things that I didn't even know they sell. Prices were amazing as well.The staff there was really helpful and helped me find what I needed. They were really nice which you don't always get anymore. I will definitely be back for more!

They have a great selection. It's just hard to find what you need. There's maybe too much selection.

Honestly for a party store .. those employees need to smile and not be so rude! Went there today and another costumer was asking an employee who was filing up balloons a quick question and she literally ignored her. Like yeah you’re busy but you’re working in a Party Place! Management really need to have a chat with their staff!

Huge selection of everything for any party you can imagine, and a tonne of other things that you never knew you needed. The staff are all helpful and friendly and the store is immaculate and well organized. There is also a huge parking lot with accessible parking and entrance. I gave them a 4 out of 5 only because their prices are a little high.

Attempted to return items for daughters wedding as they are not appropriate for wedding tier. Items returned unused with original packaging and sales bag with receipt. Because the papers on plate were “damaged” as well as fingerprints were in them - they wouldn’t take the return as they said they are “unsellable”.Horrible reason for not accepting a return.

the worst customer service in Kingston.I bought 2 serving trays that faded after 1 wash, by hand in warm soapy water.brought them back and the Supervisor took his thumb nail and scratched more of the writing and expected me to keep it! said well I'm not taking them back. proceeded to say I should have checked them in the store..when I asked if I should have scratched them before buying he said yes!asked for the other Supervisor who was equally as rude, agreed to replace the 1 he damaged but not the other one. clearly they are not high quality products BUT if they are defective they should take them back. needless to say their Dollar Store Quality products should be tested before purchasing according to the Supervisor I just dealt with.never again..just wow, wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Worst service I've ever experienced..

They deserve NO stars. The hired help could not be bothered to assist with finding the right product. No, some flippant kid pointing his finger, waving me off and saying an aisle number was not helpful when I had already told him I had just been there. Nor was the snotty young lady with straight blonde hair and glasses who actually went out of her way to be as unpleasant, unhelpful, and dismissive as possible to ensure that I could not know what my options were. Instead, she used a face only angry teens display as a means to dismiss a pleasant customer seeking help. Wow, now THAT is bad. And finally, the icing on the cake was at the checkout, where manager Logan rang in my purchase and while apologetic for what two of his staff members had just done, was nonetheless just as unmotivated to try to assist or problem solve. All 3 could not be more clear in their absolute disdain for working there (or perhaps, having to do work while there). I only wanted a large bag of disposable drinking glasses that had not already been opened. But no, that was too much to ask and Logan even said they had nothing to seal the bags up with. He did not check for additional stock or provide any alternatives or additional problem solving. None of these staff deserve to have a job at all, and make absolutely no pretense whatsoever about that. Even with Covid concerns, one would think that drinking glasses and utensils should be sealed up and not left open on the shelves. But no, that was just too much for these little snowflakes to bother with because they don't want to do any actual work even when the store had no other customers in it....and now we know why that is. Maybe they need to go back to jobs like fast food restaurant work and learn the basics. This Party City location need to close down because it poses a health risk to customers.

Prices are very high :( not alot of selections) everything is thrown around and misplaced. Staff are young kids and not helpful. Went in for a specific balloon and they said they didn't have any when it showed online they had 12 in the store. Told the cashier that and she wasn't happy as she had to look around for it. Next time I'll just shop on Amazon.

I had looked online to ensure the costume pieces i was looking for were in stock, which the website said they were. I couldn't find a product and asked an employee if it was possible to have it shipped to that location rather than my own address (I'm a university student). The employee said we don't do that
