I've had many cars in many places in Calgary and Ray's is my favourite. Just super honest and provides incredible value. I asked him about it one day, after charging me 50% less than another mechanic was going to charge, and he said he just doesn't mark the parts as high as most others and of course, charges for the actual time involved. Just had a synthetic oil changes done, in addition to a tire rotation, and it was $111 all-in.

Amazing service and great price. I used Ray's Auto Service on multiple occasions for 3 years now and never been disappointed. Did tires, brakes, oil change, battery replacement and some other repairs. Always professional service, honest advice, friendly and the best pricing in town. Highly recommend.

Terrible service. Wouldn’t put in extra work to look at what the car needs, said abs pump is gone and couldn’t find one. Asked what part number was so I can verify the pumps I found are correct. I found the parts online and all he did was check junk yards and not do any extra work.Super rude on the phone. Short answers. Didn’t care at all. Lied to my girl and said only the pump was wrong but tells me on the phone they didn’t look at anything else.Brutal service . Super lazy. Bad when a guy in another province can find the part in 5 minutes and he can’t.Don’t take vehicles to him.Doesn’t know how to find parts or run a shop.

I have been having my car serviced at Ray’s for at least 15 years and have referred many people to him. They are honest and reasonably priced. They never do unnecessary repairs or try to take advantage of my limited knowledge of vehicles. My elderly dad also used to take his vehicle here and Ray treated him like gold. Can’t recommend him enough!!

You may have to wait for your vehicle to be serviced, but Ray and his boys are the most honest mechanics I've ever met. Labor may seem expensive, but they are efficient and honest and in the end I end up paying less than other shops and drive away with a good working vehicle.
