Church Street School Daycare

Both my children love going to daycare here and have been coming for two years. They feel safe, supported and always have fun. The staff are wonderful and the leadership team is professional, dedicated and responsive. I highly recommend church street school childcare centre!

Walked past with my dog and some kids really wanted to pet him. My dog is very small and super friendly so I let them pet him over the fence. It was a very cute interaction. Then a male teacher came and told the kids to back away from the fence and didn’t really have a great attitude towards me. Emm I mean I get it if there’s rule like that but he could’ve explained properly and be friendly in front of the kids, instead of hinting animals are all dangerous and shouldn’t be interacted with. It honestly just reminded me of a prison. They could’ve just build walls instead of fences really.

Being a part of Church Street School Daycare is a pleasure to me and my family. In all honesty I may not have agreed with all that was mentioned to us but as parents or people with difference of opinions, you will not always see eye to eye on every matter but CSCDC has always put the children's needs and development first. My children feel comforted, taken care of and included at Church Street School Daycare which my oldest has told us and that says a lot to us. Through the many challenges our family and other families have faced as parents and in life, Church Street Daycare has been a great support and when possible provided insight and resources to help us. We feel very lucky to have gotten a space at Church Street School Daycare and appreciative that staff continue to provide a great service for us and experience for our children.

My daughter has been going to the daycare at this school for a couple of years now. She loves the daycare already, I find the staff helpful and supportive of the struggles for a new toddler starting daycare or a preschooler struggling with articulating their emotions. The children are always engaged with stimulating activities that I get to hear about at the end of the day or from the online app that the daycare has where the staff can post pictures and videos of the child's day.The food here is healthy, menu is shared with us in advance and we get everyday notes/have a conversation with the teacher on how her day has been. We are very happy with the care that my daughter is receiving and see valuable change in our child.

Absolutely loved this child care centre! My daughter goes there for the summer camp program and has an amazing time. Their program is well thought out and my little one literally asks when she would be going back every school year.

We have been so happy with Church Street Childcare. The teachers are so enthusiastic, caring and sensitive to each child’s needs. We’ve had our child in the toddler and preschool program.

Our son went there for 6 months. We are very pleased with the care provided by the staff. They were gentle and patient. Our son had the opportunity to create bonds and we could see that he was happy to stay there. Thanks Chantal, Alex, Derick and Quincey for caring my son so well. Great experience sending my daughter to Church Street Daycare. The staff at the front of office has always had an amazing approach to parents and went over and above on numerous occasions to accommodate our family.

I have nothing but positive things to say about all the staff that work here. Both my kids transitioned very easily and I think it's because they felt so very welcome. I can tell the teachers really care about my children and enjoy being around them. The center has done an excellent job navigating through this pandemic which is not an easy task. Thank you Church Street for taking care of the two most important people in my life.

Our son has been a part of this daycare for close to a year now. The pandemic made it difficult for kids to interact with each other but the daycare was so thorough in taking care of the children and ensuring a safe environment for them. My son has enjoyed the year at Church St Daycare. Their summer camp was amazing and engaging. It is a very convenient centre providing before and after school daycare within the school campus. The care takers and in-charge are very understanding and approachable.
