I would highly recommend this pediatric dentist clinic after our first visit. Robin and Dr. Darren were amazing and patient with my 2 year old who previously was terrified of the dentist! Robin went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable from the minute she came to the waiting room and we ended up leaving with a smile on her face and asking when we can go back!

RIVER’s EDGEPediatric Dentist and Orthodontist**First time posting about anything…I couldn’t let this pass**If you have a dentist-shy child, have had an unfortunate experience with your child at a dentist or are simply looking for a PROFESSIONAL Pediatric Dentist or Orthodontist…this post is for you.My 7 year old son had a failed filling visit at a dentist here in the Fort last week. It was an emotional and unfortunate experience for everyone.Over the past month I had seen the sign for the new Pediatric dentist; driving past it twice a day while passing the Ford Dealership.SO…after leaving the dentist…I drove DIRECTLY THERE.I explained the situation, the staff was amazing…(I was a bit rattled) but was assured Dr. Darren is well prepared and very ready for any such situation.We got an appointment booked.The experience was just short of amazing. First, the Dr. took me outside the office to explain to me what he was going to do…he explained his planned strategy, which was child geared and nothing I’d seen or heard before, so I understand why he made it known to me.I sat in and watched as Dr. Darren and his assistant, Crystal, made my son feel so comfortable. My son was laughing!Listening to their talk…their tones, choice of vocabulary, descriptions, speech…their entire demeanours…it was all so absolutely indicative of…. professionals.Those specialized in dealing with small kids. Always curious, sometimes nervous and often time scared…children.This mom was so relieved…and parent-peace is amazing!My son has a new dentist now, and as it turns out, my son had a previous referral to an orthodontist due to his oncoming secondary teeth and some spacing issues. I cancelled that consultation and had it done at River’s Edge while we were there. I came to find this dentist is one of only a handful of Dr.’s that is specialized in BOTH of these areas. Now my son has a new orthodontist too… all at a one-stop-shop. #parentwinAnd the Amazing-Patient reward he got? A POPPIT! One he won’t put down and is telling everyone “‘Crystal’ gave this to me”.Grand Slam River’s Edge! They checked ALL the boxes and the Fort is fortunate to have another great addition to our list of specialists…one more thing putting our Fort on the map!

Our first visit to a pediatric dentist…If your seeking a dentist for your children… I Strongly recommend this amazing, knowledgeable and so very friendly practice.My daughter (8years) normally seen our general dentist, and he recommended a pediatric dentist to help with an extraction.From walking in the door, the office staff welcomed my daughter and made her know she is important and a valued client.The dental hygienist then greeted my daughter a few minutes later. Provided a very thorough process and took my daughter right in.Laughs, smiles and patience had been flowing for our entire experience.Not a care in the world during and after the extraction and filing.Thank you so much <3Will be taking all my kiddos to this amazing clinic from today on.Strongly recommend!!!

It is the first time my kids don’t stress out when going to the dentist. Dr Darren is amazing! He works great with kids and he explains everything in detail to the parent. My daughter had to have teeth surgery and Dr. Darren made it sound easy and exciting.He is the first dentist I’ve seen doing such a thorough exam on my kids’ teeth. From now on he and his team are our go-to dentistry. We are really lucky to have them in the Fort!

My daughter had her first ever dentist appointment today and the team at rivers edge were so great in making her feel safe and welcome. Friendly faces and smiles and very thorough. Dr.Darren was fantastic and I learned so many things I hadn’t realized could be related to her sleep problems until I went in today. Very informative. Would recommend taking your kids here!

Highly highly recommend! This was my sons first time to the dentist. He’s only 12 months so I really didn’t know what to expect. They seriously know how to work with kids! Dr. Darren and his staff were absolutely amazing. They are warm and welcoming the second you walk in the door. My son got to check out all the equipment and explore a bit and get comfortable with his surroundings. They have different approaches for looking in the mouth and work to make it an easy, comfortable experience. My boy got his check up and a fluoride treatment and not even a single tear! Such a positive experience.
