Stamford Fireplaces

I thought the price was good. But when they put the hearth down the tile cuts were rough and the seams thick and it was not put down properly with the mud and the tile are coming up. Even the installer said he didn't do it right. he said they would be easy to take up or pop out. They told me they would be back to finish the vents and face cover. When I called to get the job finished and explain the issues they said they would take care of it. They still owe us a face plate that fits and installation of the vents. it's been 2 years. We are not happy with their job. We have not paid the balance as there is some much wrong with it.

We recently worked with Stamford Fireplaces on the purchase and installation of a new fireplace for our home. The previous (builder’s) fireplace had not worked properly since we purchased the house.Kathy Morningstar and her team were able to identify the cause of the problems and design a cost effective solution for us. She listened to our requirements and recommended a new fireplace that met all of our needs. Installation was completed quickly and professionally.Our home is cozy and warm again thanks to Stamford Fireplaces.

So happy I chose Stamford Fireplaces. What a great experience I had, from beginning to end! Let's start at the beginning when I spoke with Cathy who gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision on which fireplace was best for us. Then installation day when Tom and Mike came to install the fireplace...these fellas were amazing and I will be forever grateful to them for their expertise as they found an existing gas leak and took care of it right away. Then over to Steve and Tom who did our stonework so beautifully. All fellas did an amazing install and the work was so clean, no mess. I've had to call Stamford Fireplaces to ask questions and have been happy to have my calls returned in a timely manner and the questions I had were always answered. I would highly recommend this company. Thanks for your care and expertise and making sure our fireplace was perfect.

We needed a fireplace removal due to the previous install was completely wrong and unsafe by another company. Kathy sent a team to remove our old fireplace quicky. The team was professional, extremely clean and respectful of our home making the experience a good one.We would highly recommend STAMFORD Fireplaces to everyone.

BEWARE:I purchased 2 fireplaces from Stamford Gas fireplace... fan was not working . They sent a tech out very professional twice first time checked fireplace I purchased from them all good and he checked remote it did not display FAN which was additional cost I pd for. He returned second time with new remote all goodnow. He did inform me only verbaly that the mantel was not up to code..did hot know that...then he showed me in the manual ..ok I informed him too heavy for me to remove alone I will have my son come that wk end.. my son come 2 days after and removed it.Got a email from enbridge gas today that I was in violation and service will be terminated Mon if not inspected. Called Enbridge Apparently Stamford FireplaceTech submitted that my mantel was not fireproof...r u kidding me Explained to Enbridge it was all taken down 2 days after he left and he was informed of this even Enbridge was surprised how this was handled and that he did not sign it off. Informed her that at no point within the 2 visits he was going to submit a violation, also as per Endbridge he was to provide me with a tag (copy of the violation) which was not provided to me and no discussion of this from Tech. NOTHING"...with that said I am being charged for Enbridge to come out to ensure it was removed to keep Gas line active.Contacted Stamford spoke with Donna I informed her as their dedicated customer I am very upset and disapointed of how there techician handled my case .. Donna kept informing me the Tech notes state he did leave Tag in the control box and he did show me the manual...Advised her I am not stupid..yes he showed the manual

I would highly recommend this company. We had a problem with our fireplace and Victoria was so informative and knowledgeable over the phone. We also stopped by their store and they were very helpful in helping us with our fireplace. Thank you so much!

This is the second gas fireplace I have purchased from Stamford and both times the service was terrific. The second time around was especially helpful--the install was not straightforward--my crawlspace is in a very old home and I wouldn't wish that on anyone to be honest! There were so many details that Stamford helped out with and especially now with delays absolutely everywhere they were incredibly helpful and kind. Very happy with my purchase and very grateful for their help throughout.
