I went as part of a group so I didn't have to pay , so I have no idea how much it is per person . The cost of a bottle of coke was expensive at just 5 dollars a bottle . So if you plan on going there this summer , make sure that bring your own lunch and especially your own water or pop with you . In the African rainforest pavilion there is a food stop , called the Serengeti bush camp where the prices for the food is more affordable. At the time that I went through the different areas, most of the animals were laying down and hard to see . Spent about 3 hrs there walking around . Left there about 3:30pm . The Tim Hortons there don't serve anything but breakfast sandwiches or bagels .

Great place for kids and adults equally! African side of the entire Toronto Zoo is the biggest. It took us 3.5 hours in entire African area out of our 5 hour tour. 5hours include 30mins of our snack break + rest. Spent only 1 hour at Indo-Malaya area.Kids (5 & 2 years old) were tired in 5 hours. Entire zoo is quite big to cover all in one trip (I think).Possibly non-African areas can be covered in one trip. This shows how much Africa is blessed with - in terms of animals/mammals/birds, in addition to all other natural resources.Africa is too underrated - God bless you Africa - hopefully I will visit that region - One day!

Great experience and a must do. Delight watching some of the animals up close, especially if one hasn't been to the zoo in a while. Brings back childhood memories for sure even as our kids enjoy the experience. Not all animals were out as the season is just getting ramped up, hence 4 stars.

I love visiting the rainforest pavillion. It is really warm inside though cause of the rainforest temperatures. The animals are all great to see. My daughters loved it. It can be quite busy at times.

The Toronto Zoo is our go to place. We love coming here during the summer as well as the Winter. Well worth the annual membership.
