I had an amazing time with Dustin!! He is so knowledgeable and professional and really loves what he does. I had a great time and learned a lot about the Sooke area, sea stars, the birds and seals. Can’t wait to go again! If I could give 6 starts I would!

Decided to go out of my comfort zone and joined my daughter this weekend for a bit of adventure and we could not have had a more amazing experience kayaking thanks to our superb guide Dustin! This was the highlight of my stay in Sooke, hands down! Thank you so much!

Gina and her staff will go the extra mile to make sure that your spontaneous, spur of the moment kayak rental can actually happen, although you should definitely call ahead during the high season. Her kayaking 101" course is quick and efficient

Me and my lady friend went on the full day tour. Worth every penny, all the folks in the office where exceedingly friendly and helpful. We say all kinds of critters! Sea Cucumbers, so many of them! Sam, our tour guide was knowledgeable and patient. The full day tour was worth every penny!

My partner decided to “surprise” me with kayaking during our island trip. I have major PTSD from a kayaking incident at Harrison Hot Springs. I was super nervous and feeling so anxious that I almost wanted to turn back. But luckily, John was our guide that evening and was super reassuring and gave me positive reinforcement during the whole 2 hours. I couldn’t believe I was able to get into a kayak after holding back for so many years. Was happy to have gotten a chance to overcome one of my biggest fears. Thanks so much to John for his guidance and positive vibes!

Absolutely wonderful! Gina and her staff will go the extra mile to make sure that your spontaneous kayak rental can actually happen, although you should definitely call ahead during the high season. Her and her staff were very accommodating and Gina explained the basics in a clear concise manner. Given Gina's knowledge and skills in kayaking and survival, I felt completely comfortable and safe with her which in turn helped me to enjoy the tour that much more. I would highly recommend Rush Adventures and I would definitely do it again!

Had a horrible experience with the staff at rush adventures. While out kayaking one of our paddles sank right before our eyes. Four of us witnessed it. When we got back the employee told us not to worry about it and that the paddles were old anyways. The next day I was charged $150 for one paddle. I checked the price for a new pair of the same paddles and they only cost $200. After calling back and fourth explaining the situation I was told they would reduce the charged price and they would send me the receipt of the new paddle. I waited for them to get back to me and they never did. I called multiple times with no answer or they they would get back to me soon. Horrible customer service experience. I still haven’t been reimbursed for a used old paddle that SANK when it should’ve floated.
