Glenrock Cottages and Trailer Park

Our cottage was right on the water! It was perfect for just walking out and going for a swim. The lake is like bathwater and great for kids as it's shallow for quite a long distance. There are lots of parks for kids in this trailer park. They could be updated but the kids don't seem to care. Cottage one and two are very nicely renovated. The other cottages could use some updates. All the cottages have BBQ and a fire pit and a picnic table.

Glenrock is situated on the shore of Lake Nipissing and is a short drive off of Hwy #17 in Sturgeon Falls, Ontario. Sites have 30 Amp electrical service, on-site water and sewage hookups. Sites are narrow with little tree cover, but there is always a nice breeze off the Lake or a beautiful sand beach to take a dip in to cool off.Washrooms / Showers are clean and bright and centrally situated.We were here for Canada Day celebrations and despite the COVID-19 restrictions we had an enjoyable day culminating in an extraordinary fireworks display lasting over 30 minutes and rivaling many larger urban centre's in the variety, intensity and choreography of fireworks!Many long-time seasonal residents who will attest to the hospitality and family atmosphere of this campground - highly recommended for day or extended stays.

My sister, our Mom and I stayed for the second last weekend prior to season closing. We were given the newest cottage and what a treat. It was the sweetest little cottage I have ever stayed in. The one and only complaint we had is the mattresses on the beds are extremely rock hard. Sleeping on the bare floors may have been softer.The owner was very personable and treated us extremely well. It was quiet and peaceful. Thinking we may have to do this again next year. I would have given it 5 stars with the exception of the mattresses.

Glenrock was an absolutely perfect place to stay. We stayed in Cottage #1, which had been recently renovated and nothing was left to be desired. The kitchen was adequately stocked with pots, pans and any cutlery we needed, the beds were comfortable and the cottage was clean when we got there.The only problem we encountered was the original wifi code the park owner gave us did not work, but we brought it to their attention and they were quick to make it right!Beautiful lake, family friendly park and kind, friendly hosts.Thanks Nicole and Roger. We had a fantastic site, right on the beach. The campground is is in a beautiful location however the facilities are showing their age. Upgrades are being done but it will take some time to bring it back to it's former glory.

Very well kept trailer park. Went for a BBQ and then later sat around the fire pit with 2 guitar players. Got a few mosquito bites. I should have sprayed myself. My fault.

Stayed for 5 days and visited family in the various area over the week, campgrounds were quite right on the water very nice site. Showers were excellent very clean ,hot water for the whole shower!! Will camp there again

I must say I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here at Glenrock. The fire pit area was great for a good fire. The cottage I was visiting was one of the newer units and the front yard views were gorgeous. Then to top it all off I was hoping on some freezes but figured the nearest store was a jaunt turns out it's 100 feet away. So there you have it in a nutshell so if you want a rustic getaway I highly recommend this place for a visit.
