Beautiful You Sewing

I'm an intermediate beginner at sewing apparel. I had two unfinished tops sitting in my closet for months because I struggled with binding necklines and sleeves with bias tape. It wouldn't lay flat, and I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Initially, I hired Elizabeth to bind one of the tops for me (she did a beautiful job), and then I decided to try and learn the technique from her myself on the other top. With her guidance, I got it right on the FIRST try. Worth every penny.

Elizabeth was so warm and wonderful!! Her work was masterfully done. The rosette that she hand crafted is such a beautiful accent for my daughter's hair. We took my daughter's prom dress for alteration. My daughter is 4'9.5 and her dress was regular length. Thank you for all your hard work!! 10 out of 10!!!

I really wanted a cloak and I would not have been able to complete it without the help of Elizabeth (the owner). She was so patient and professional in demeanor while giving me lessons, she had her work cut out for her because I can't cut a straight line to save my life. Her extensive and varied experience was invaluable and helped ground me in reality throughout the entire process from picking out fabrics to proper care/maintenance. Just absolutely a wonderful teacher and seamstress! I will absolutely be working with her in the future on more projects and am looking forward to it.

Good Day everyone. I want to start off by saying, I've been working with Lizzy for over 4years now. She is absolutely awesome to work with. She has been making all of my vacation outfits, to fit me exactly how I want them. We all are different and have our own personal flaws.. And thats what she pays attention to. She is very personal to my needs, and makes me feel like I am the star of my own life, while in fittings. Lizzys ideas combined with mine are a perfect match. She pays attention to your vision, details and realistic wants, and make them come alive. Im so happy to say, that I love ALL of her work, that she has done for others and myself over the years.

I got a custom dress. Sent in my measurements, she kept me informed on how it was going. Just received it and it fits like a glove. It has been wonderful would use her again in a heartbeat

Elizabeth from Beautiful You Sewing is talented on many levels. She altered a bridesmaid's gown for me, removing about five inches from the hem (I'm pretty short) and adding a modesty panel across the low-cut bodice. She fit it in so expertly that the dress didn't look altered at all.I found out she also does upholstery, so I had her make new sofa cushions for a wooden couch that's been in our family for generations. She helped me choose the fabric, walked me through the process of deciding on foam depth and density, and then set about creating beautiful cushions that made me fall in love with my couch all over again.Great work at affordable prices! 10/10

I would absolutely recommend Beautiful You Sewing. I came from Pittsburgh and she worked around my schedule to alter my wedding dress I loved that she provided suggestions and pictures along the way. My wedding dress and veil can out perfect!!!
