Consulat Général de Grèce à Montréal

I went with my brother yesterday at the Greek consulate to translate a driving permit for my brother . After I made a phone call with a gentleman at the consulate a few days ago, he confirm to me that the translation can be done . No problem at all .I had to take my day off and drive downtown with my brother . The lady at the desk was extremely rude , she only could speak Greek and bad English . I regretted speaking french but I switched fast to English . She told us that she can not translate the document, because she was not able to verify if this driving permit was still valid . The driving permit expiring date was on 2020.She started screaming on me and my brother for asking details on this mater. I can't believe how those kind of people can represent Greece . I left very disappointed from this experience .I found a certified Greek translator at the same day that was able to do the certified translation for half the price . Thank for nothing consulate .I better travel to Greece to obtain a document than dealing with you .

Great view from the offices and, personally, it's nice to be in a Greek environment once in a while. Even though they answer the phone regularly, the service at the offices is somewhat slow at times. If you go for your Greek passport, make sure you do so months in advance because the process can take about three months.

I have been going to this consulate for services for over 20 years. I would like to mention that the current administration is the most organized and professional staff that has ever worked at the consulate in Montreal. The service is efficient and the staff is polite and helpful to its dual citizens. Thank you.

Good service good response time nice people, timely service

I asked for their services many times and every time was a different story! Now the latest is that they don’t give me ANY information about my issue because the guy on the phone was insisting that he can’t give me his personal opinion. My notary suggested to call my embassy to explain me the procedures cause they know, she said. Long story short, he almost hang up on me! Plus later on I discovered the info they gave me was completely wrong! I spend months waiting for nothing and I got fined because of them! Good job fellas! Are you REALLY getting all these huge salaries from our Greek taxes and still working as if you are in the public sector in Greece? News are that you are in Canada now and you have to adjust, learn to work and stop being rude. Can you please? Thank you.P.S.: I know multiple people being mad at you

Very good service today from the Greek consulate (Montreal) employees.Employees were professional, knowledgeable and provided a very good service.Area was spacious, nicely decorated and clean.All services we requested were completed in a timely manner and it was a very good experience.A big thank you to the employees that assisted us today!

The Consul General of Greece in Montreal is professional, efficient, and a very helpful office to iron out matters with the Greek State. Their staff is polite and detailed and any documents they assist you with are perfectly redacted.Unlike others who feel being detailed means being unaccommodating, I’ve had to deal with them on numerous occasions in the past few years and they have always attempted to guide me and provide me with the best possible solutions, especially when I was pressed for time.Ευχαριστώ πολύ σε όλλους τους εξαιρετικούς υπάλληλους.

Really good and efficient people, miss niki is the front is a sweat heart and goes out of her way to help even while getting bombarded with phone calls in 3 different languages. Mr christos is a great as well. Great attitude and helpful demeanor. All around nice experience. But if are rude to them, they are Greek, they will be straightforward and very stoic in the way they help you.

Very bad service, the lady that answer the phone is absolutely rude. I’m wondering how she can still work with that attitude.I have many nice Greek friends and coworkers and is shame that they get represented by those people.
