Peninsula Medical Clinic

My doctor is great but going through some of the ladies who answer the phone to get to him is the downfall of this clinic. Their attitude and how they speak with people is so unacceptable. Happend to me 3x in the last 6 years where the rudeness was beyond shocking. I tried not to complain but the last experience was too much that I had to post a review. Based on the other reviews, this isn't the 1st time nor the last time. It is unfortunate this type of service is acceptable these days.

Went on a Sunday, not knowing they were temporarily closed on the weekends due to staff shortage. The website and phone said it was open. When the receptionist came to open the doors she said they were fully booked for walk in and only phone. Was upset and about to leave, but she came back out to the parking lot and said she would try her best to get the doctor to call (me and another patient who had waited). Later that day she called to confirm and then the doctor called and was able to get me a prescription. I was so happy! Really nice of the receptionist to walk out and stop us before we left to help us out. Thank you.

Great place exhalant staff . Always busy but we'll organized and friendly place to visit. Have been going hear for many years and seen lots of changes most to the good . They do a great job helping us out to get us in a quick as possible to see a doctor. These clinics are very busy most of the time and can only do so much so the peaple that complain because they have to wait look around and shake your head . The population in south Surrey is growing every day and this makes everything busier and busier. So be patient and respectful to the staff they have a tough job dealing with all of us . I know your sick and not feeling well but don't take it out on the staff they are their to help . Thank you so much to the staff and doctors keep up the great work. The front staff are friendly and efficient. They take walk-ins or make over the phone appointments. The decor inside is a bit dated and the waiting room is a little bit dark but it’s well spaced out. The doctor was very friendly yet focused and directly addressed my complaints.

I felt discriminated. Our appointment was 1130. We arrived 1125. I over heard the caucasian lady’s appointment was 1145. We waited almost 2 hour and yet she put her first. When I asked her (Olivia) she said she was doing arrival time. What’s the point of having an appointment!!!!

I am using my sons account on google as I don’t have one. My name is Graeme and I feel compelled to share my thoughts about the team at the peninsular medical clinic. Most people go to the clinic with no real appreciation of what it takes to run a team and take care of so many people. Some people today don’t even thank the staff for their help, support and kind patience they apply to all who look for assistance. I wanted to extend my deepest appreciation to all the staff and the tireless hours and effort they put in to help people in need! You are the only support structure for many people and on behalf of everyone who you help “THANK YOU”

I am so surprised by some of the negative reviews. My family and I have only gone 3 times but each time has been amazing and we are hopefully planing on switching clinics to make this our permanent clinic. Dr. Davis is kind and knowledgeable and every single person at the front desk was amazing. I actually made an error yesterday and showed up at 11:45 for my 11:15 appt. I was still able to see a doctor without a long wait time (amazing!). Thank you so much to the kind staff. You're the best!

Attempted to visit this walk in clinic three times. Each time a sign taped to the door said clinic full so never ventured in. Determined to get in with my health issue I arrived on Monday morning at 7:15Am. I also noticed that the sign I thought was put up when the clinic became full was already installed on the door. On closer examinations is fastened with multiple applications of tape. So wondering what is going on. While I was there 4 more people came up and also did the same thing. Finally at 8 the doors open and the receptionist said do you have an appointment. I said no isn't this a walk in clinic? She said yes but were booked up till Thursday!! Their web site is very hard to read especially on your phone. Notices posted there are a year old and it's not entirely clear on how the clinic operates. Complete waste of time. So unprofessional. Take the uninformative and misleading sign on the door down!!

I was able to be booked in on a holiday (Victoria Day) to get a refill of my inhalers. I had just moved into the area and Olivia at the front desk was super helpful to book me in and direct me to the proper location. All other medical clinics around the area were closed. GPS will route you into Peninsula Village (LD/Safeway) but Peninsula Medical Clinic is actually located across the street (across 24th ave) at the corner of 154st/24ave. I recommend calling in and booking early in the am.

The doctor is great, the staff is really friendly. I like how they take appointments so you don't have to sit there all day like most clinics in the area. They see you right away and address your problem, without delays
