Livita Barrington Retirement Residence

My Mom is the longest resident at The Barrington right now. We have always had good experiences but when Livita took over it became that much better. Emily, Amy, the Joys and all the staff are wonderful. Lots of smiles and encouragement to join in the fun for the families. I applaud them all and their efforts ❤️

Livita Barrington has been a lifesaver for our family. We moved our mom to Livita back in 2020 after a hospitalization. She was unable to return home and Livita became her new HOME. It is truly a warm, comfortable place to live! She loved it! She sang praises about the staff, the food, and the accommodations.We lost mom earlier this year, but my dad has moved in now! He constantly talks about the staff at the Livita (kitchen, cleaning, maintenance, nursing, administration - EVERYONE!). He is treated with respect and kindness, is served great meals and his room is beautiful! ALL of his needs are being met! Livita has become a part of our family. We don’t have to worry about him living alone. There is always staff available if needed. During these crazy covid times our family feels blessed to know dad is living the best life he can and is happy! Thank you!!

Through my experience I would not want my grandparents anywhere else. The care team genuinely care as if they are all one big family. Knowing the little details about the residents is what sets them apart. Things like knowing a favorite food or game is what makes the residents feel seen and cared for. They have set the bar for care so high it makes it hard to imagine being anywhere else.

Livita Barrington Barrie is a beautiful location and has by far the best staff you could ask for. My father only got to experience the Barrington for 7 days before he went into the hospital and passed shortly afterwards. However, in those 7 days, the staff not only cared and loved my father but my family as well. If it wasn't for the staff at Barrington advocating for my father while he was in the hospital, we never would have gotten my father into hospice so quickly where we could visit him on his final day. The staff at Barrington made his short transition so comfortable and smooth that my father was happy in his new home. He was smiling and engaged for those few days he got to spend at Barrington. I will forever be grateful to the staff at Barrington for their kind words, their care and genuine love they quickly grew for my father. This is the only place I would ever send an aging loved one. They truly are the cream of the crop!!

The staff at Livita are over the top professional and kind to all the residents. Our dad has been a resident for a couple of years and calls his room home".Meals are excellent and nutritious. Extra activities are frequent and enjoyable. We have a real comfort level that dad is in a retirement home that respects him and his his every need. Hugs to all the stall and management."

The Barrington is such and warm and welcoming place to visit, work and live! Everyone always has a smile and a positive things to say!The residents are all positive and love always having something to do.I love sitting with any resident and having a chat about anything and everything!It's just a great place to work!

I can’t say enough about what a wonderful home Barrington retirement is. From the moment you walk into the home you are greeted with the warmth of the staff. Their commitment to the residents resonate through the home Their dedication to ensure each resident is taking care of is evident. The home is clean , the food is incredible. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a retirement home for their loved ones

Working at Livita Barrington has brought such a light into my life, the residents the staff and the sense of community is amazing. Through out my career in the retirement industry I’ve worked in 3 different homes under different companies and this is a home where I can confidently say, feels like a home. Being a smaller home the staff gets to know the residents to the core, the attention to detail on their everyday lives and the heart/care behind everyone is unlike any place I’ve experience before. I can say I have the privilege of working in a place that the atmosphere feels like family.
