Took my car in for safety and tires changed, they did a great job finding the lug nut key, centre caps, and put the tires coming off back in bags and into the car neatly. Great experience, will be back.

Took my vehicle to them twice. Very honest and reliable service. Since I know very little about cars, I'm always eager to find mechanics you can trust. Will be going back in the future.

I have been having trouble with my Rav as it has been making suttle rumbling noises around corners. Friend of mine changed brakes, bought new tires, 4 wheel alignment and still the noise persisted. Brought it to Toyota in Halifax, they said there was nothing wrong with the vehicle, however did say it could be the brakes? Maybe because they were aftermarket?Anyway week later I ran into Blake Sampson, my longtime mechanic from Bedford. Hadn't seen him in probably 20 years. He said bring the Rav up and I'll take a look, sounds like differential oil.After a short test drive, his mechanic knew actually what it was, put it on the hoist and found the problem! Seized drive shaft!!! 10 out of 10!

I have been a customer of Blake Sampson for at least 15 years and Blake is the best Honda mechanic I have ever found. He is honest and fair and always has treated me, my wife and other members of my family and friends very professionally and he can always be trusted to do exactly what is needed for our vehicles. 10/10 customer service and quality workmanship.

Worst experience ever, went for an MVI, reached there at scheduled time 9 am, waited 2 hrs, finally got my car moved in for inspection, the mechanic advised me of some rust in the rear drums and that the front brake pads are touching the rotors, before I could even discuss anything, the owner showed up and took over and asked me to get it done and walked away, finally after 50 minutes or so, the guy at front desk (guess Josh) put in some numbers which the owner made him revised. I ended up paying hefty amount for nothing. Frankly speaking, don't fall for sugar coated talks, I was charged 49.x +taxes for scrubbing the rust and 69.x +taxes for front brakes, paid 176.x for 1 hr, complete RIP off. The guy I bought the vehicle showed me the recent service record, done 15 days ago and there was absolutely no issues with the car.Again , don't fall for his sugar coated talks, explore your options, I really felt cheated and frustrated. Invest wisely. All the best!

Can't say enough good things about these guys. They helped me maintain my old Cobalt after the factory warranty ran out. They're always professional and tell you clearly what is needed, how much it should cost and they'll give you options if possible. Everyone I've dealt with there has been super, and I'd still be using them if I hadn't moved away.

So... the bolts on the flange of my exhaust manifold were burnt/rusted out to the extent that I literally had to use a metal pipe strap to hold the them in place - with the gasket worn out, only one spring-bolt in place and the down pipe cracked at the point where it meets the intermediate pipe - IT WAS LOUD when your foot on the throttle! I supplied the bolt and spring but it was the wrong one-the sourced the correct one and STILL Higgins and Sampson saved me over $250 on the SAME JOB for which I had minutes earlier gotten a quote for $560+... Looking forward to the good rates continuing - Now my 2000 corolla is 'quieter' - Thanks guys!

Excellent mechanics, but they consistently overbook themselves. This turns into a longer wait to get your car done because the car gets repaired much later than the appointment time. If you need your car back by a certain time, make sure to mention it and ask if it's possible.

Great service! They often go above and beyond. Highly recommend. It has been three years since my previous review and you can add consistency to the many reasons to choose Higgens for your auto-servicing. So good in every way that matters. Armdale is lucky to have them!
