Fountain Tire

Once upon a time ago last summer my vehicle broke down on the hwy travelling back to Vancouver. I was stranded and getting jerked around by AMA/BCAA waiting for my tow for 6+ hours.I was able to get my vehicle pushed into fountain tire with some strangers help. The guys here were able to diagnose my car and give me an idea of what I was dealing with for next to nothing and it was done immediately. My only wish is that I remembered the mechanics name.Where as I spent the next 4 days having various dealerships and AMA be mystified by my cars issue.Fountain tire gave me the only quality service, and turn around time on my vehicle break down throughout an entire week of being stranded in Strathmore /Calgary .Thanks guys, you were my only sanity in a insane situation

I regularly run over nails and screws all over the yard. These folks who work here are so kind and efficient. I never have a problem getting in and having my repair done quickly!!! highly recommend them!!

I had a low tire alert on my vehicle. They were very willing to take a pressure reading and top up the low tire. Very friendly and willing to help!!!If the tire gives me any grief, I will not hesitate to give these guys my business.Thank you

The service here is relatively quick and easy. Great location right off the highway and easy to deal with front desk. This review is for a balance of a few visits and decent overall but I would not take any higher end vehicles or wheels/rims to them.My last appointment I brought a set of tires, brand new rims, sensors, and black wheel weights and they were accommodating. The rims were inspected before I brought them in and were in protective boxes with covers and plastic lip covers. When I picked them up one of the rims was still scuffed by the installation process where the paint was taken off. In general and normal practice if any defects on tires or rims are to be noted it should be tracked with taken photos for evidence and notified to the customer as some shops do this as standard practice before install. I did not want to get into a debate of my word vs the technician's word" so I just left it at that. The damage is not worth a repaint repair but is just unfortunate on a new set of rims which could have been avoided or owned up to.To summarize: Decent overall experience and quick service but I will not take my higher end wheels nor purchase them here for installation. - - - 3 Stars - - -"

Two strikes guys - new people?!?!?Certainly front end staff do not clearly communicate with service techs.Tires are pretty important part of my vehicle - Bob hasn't let me down in 15 years. These new folks lack friendliness and customer service skills at this time, more knowledge and better service is needed to stand behind Bob and all he does for us here in Strathmore.

I hate to give a negative review but this has happened to both my kids cars. Last year I took my sons car in to put on winter tires and when he was driving it he said his steering was wobbling badly. He called his grandpa to come help him. His front tire lug nuts were so loose the tire was wobbling. We thought it was a freak mistake that they had only hand tightened them and forgot to torque them.Today the exact same thing happened to our daughters car. She was driving to university and called me saying there was a loud noise coming from the front of her car. I told her to get out and check her tire. They forgot to tighten the bolts on her front tire. I met her on the hi way and tightened them and took it right over to fountain tire. I had only driven the car about 30km since the tires had been put on. It was obvious they had not tightened them at all. There is no excuse for mishaps like this when Tires are your thing.I would feel sick if someones wheel fell off and they got seriously hurt do to fountain tire not checking over their work when finished. If tires have been torqued properly they should not come loose, It is just a precaution to re check at 100km.I am sure the manager is a great guy but he needs to make sure his mechanics are doing their jobs properly as lives are at risk of injury.

I'm Local and unfortunately have a bad review to give. Bob is a nice guy. But very little help for commercial big trucks . Cars take priority. Even with a week in advance. Obviously more money is made running through the smaller vehicles at a high volume then the bigger trucks that take a little more work with less Revenue to be made this is obvious here. Business is probably good the workmanship is probably good but I actually would have no idea cuz you won't work on my truck LOL even offering to pay call outs and bringing in my own tires because supply chain for them was difficult. Won't be trying this place again not like you need big trucks or anything to bring you what you need in every way:-) is what it is I guess

Had my winter tires put on and a they didn’t tighten the bolts. Noticed a weird noise while driving to Calgary, pulled over and 3 of the 5 bolts were finger loose on my front driver tire, same thing happened to my brother last year!! Called and told them what had happened and they couldn’t have cared a less, they blamed it on me for not going and getting them re-torqued soon enough, not even an apology!!! Will not be going back!!
