Hi! WOQ has been such a big help to me over the past few years we have attended. I, in fact volunteer at one of the locations that this program takes place in. Many valuable lessons, and public speaking experiences are offered here, and have taught me, as well as many other students about the complexities of English. As a high school student, essays are now a breeze because of what was taught in this program. I recommend this program to everyone who wants an extra boost in grades, and confidence in writing and speaking. Furthermore, the teachers here are amazing! They are so approachable, and fantastic at what they teach! The principal of this after school program, Ms. Ramji, is amazing at assessing each students level, and recommending the student to the right class. She is also incredible at what she does, and personally speaks with each parent or student, which is amazing for the amount of people who attend this program. Overall, if you have not yet read all the other amazing reviews that have been published here, they are all here to recommend this place to you for your child to excel in English! As a parent, I was thrilled with the education my child received at Write on Q. The program was comprehensive and kept my child motivated and engaged. The management of the program was excellent, with all logistics running smoothly.But what really impressed me was the quality of the teachers. They were all highly knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects, and went above and behind to help my child succeed. I highly recommend Write on Q.

Having started in the B1 program, I am now finishing my Write On Q journey 5 years later in E2. I can testify to the fact that every level has improved not only my writing skills but my overall confidence while doing so. Additionally, every class was taught by dedicated teachers that provided constructive feedback, and consistently well-thought out lesson plans. As a result, I am now able to identify the more complex ideas that the English language contains. This has been reflected in my schoolwork, with a noticeable improvement in my grades and the ease that I am able to complete my assignments in high school English. Furthermore, each student has been given the resources to succeed, from the handouts to the in-class help, the Write on Q program will cover topics in an in-depth way. In conclusion, the Write On Q program has helped me enforce fundamental concepts, learn the more complex ones and overall made me more proficient in the language. I could not recommend this program enough for my fellow students, as it will enhance both their skills and success in English.

My daughter attended the E1 and E2 program. This program was excellent in helping Karina improve her essay writing skills. Dr. Mawji is a highly qualified teacher and I would recommend this program to other high school students wanting to improve their writing skills.

I enrolled in the E1 program in grade 10 (2021), hoping to improve my writing skills and strengthen my knowledge of English. I always struggled with minor grammar issues in English and consistently wrote mediocre paragraphs that I felt could be drastically improved.Fortunately, it was through Dr. Mawjis' thorough explanations, the detailed yet concise material, and the techniques taught that I developed exceptional writing skills shortly. Dr.Mawji teaches her students the importance of writing structure and the crucial roles of diction and grammar in a paragraph. She is remarkable at breaking concepts down so they are easy to absorb and apply to your regular school assignments. This program not only strengthens your English skills but also sharpens your ability to manage your time strategically and efficiently.In class, I consistently listened to constructive feedback to improve my work. As a result, I made it to the top of my English class due to the beneficial feedback and habits I picked up from the program. I found the E1 program to be such a gratifying experience that I did not hesitate to enroll in E2, where my skills are constantly improving.Altogether, I highly recommend the E1 and E2 programs to ambitious students who work hard to improve their skills. Students who put in the effort will receive a plentiful reward, as the E1 and E2 curriculum and Dr. Mawji's ability to convey material and guide the class is like no other program I've experienced.

My son is enrolled in Write on Q program for four years. If I could give them 6 stars, I would! Before even I write how great the program itself is,I must say that this is highly organized program when compared to other programs. Fatima (owner) is very professional and organized, she replies backs the questions promptly. As far as the program itself, it’s organized in such a way that your child learns step by step and doesn't get overwhelmed. By far the most effective, engaging and transformational program I have ever seen. The teachers are very knowledgeable with excellent presentation skills. My son looks forward to each class. His confidence in public speaking and communication in general has gone up exponentially. In these four years my son's grades improved dramatically, he has so much more confidence and it is amazing to know the difference tutoring can make. It has been such a positive experience that every year I enroll him for the next level.

Hello! I am a student who has attended the WOQ E1 program and is currently attending the E2 program. It is an amazing program for high school students and I have nothing but respect and gratitude for the program and the teachers who run it.Dr. Mawji is the teacher who runs both programs and is very knowledgeable in the material and teaches it with passion. When marking work, she always gives back very detailed and honest constructive criticism, which is a huge help when making revisions or starting another draft for a paragraph. She is also available and ready to answer questions in class or via email. The classes also run smoothly because of the incredible assistant teachers.Each class is well thought out and planned and has a Lesson Overview (a sheet handed out at the beginning of each class entailing the homework for the upcoming week and everything done in that class). The course also gives binders at the beginning of the year, containing everything students need throughout the school year.However, the part of this program that is the most important is the effectiveness of the curriculum. The E1 and E2 curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including; vocabulary, short stories, language conventions, and, most importantly, how to write expository paragraphs and essays. The E1 program builds the foundation of the topics above, and E2 further develops and expands on them. For example, I learned in E1 how to write an expository paragraph and literary paragraph using a specific method, now, in E2, I practiced that method again and will learn how to write essays. The program also focuses on critical analysis by studying short stories and answering questions about them.This curriculum has benefited me greatly at school as I have gained a broader vocabulary, I find it easier to write paragraphs, and I developed my critical analysis skills. This program has also been helpful when I am studying different literature at school since the elements of a short story are studied. Literary terms and devices are also much easier to remember and identify. At WOQ, I also got to meet many people around my age and learn with and from them. I had the chance to peer edit and do group work.When I started the program, it was clear that hard work and practice would help me succeed in the class and that what I would be learning would be extremely useful throughout and beyond high school. I also learned that the program is enjoyable and not scary.Overall, the E1 and E2 classes make up an excellent program that I highly recommend for high school students and I do believe that the success of this program is again the result of the hard work and dedication of the wonderful staff at WOQ.

My kid joined the WriteonQ A2 level class in 2022, and I have noticed significant improvements in his language skills in 6 months. Ms. Soh is detailed and thorough in her feedback on every assignment, which helped him to concentrate more on where he needs improvement. Teachers are dedicated and share kids’ progress with parents every week. In my opinion, the WriteonQ program is a well-organized program, and the program is designed to align with the school curriculum and higher for each level. Special thanks to Fatima Ramji for the program. I have also enrolled my kid B1 level for next year and definitely recommend the program to everyone.
