I have been staying here two months per year for the past two years. Love the location and views. Little brewpub on site which is awesome too. Better than hotel living for extended stays! Highly recommended.

Completely appalling, the band that was being played last night was annoying. There was also no blind over the window in the door where we stayed at. Do a better job at making your “chalets” sleep-able, with a bar going till 2 AM, and the music being loud and people going out side drunk and screaming is not a good way for your guest to get a good nights rest, especially if they’ve been on the roads all day and they get there and can’t even sleep.

We liked the clean simple setup. Good beds, easy to find and stunning views. The property was good and they have enough dishes and utensils for a simple meal. Overall, clean and simple.

Had a great time staying here. Beautiful views of the bay, walking trail near by and a pretty great pub at the cottages that serves craft beer and has live music! Highly recommend. The cottage itself was really nice and updated. Very clean and comfy.

We loved our stay at Herons Nest Cottages! Cottages were clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay! Staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Our family of 6 stayed in a cottage that was right across from the water with the most beautiful views. Although we didn’t swim much at the beach we found lots of treasures including a washed up jellyfish and enjoyed a swim at the local pool in Dalhousie. Lighthouse in Dalhousie and surrounding beach is also a beautiful walk!Highly recommended!

Beautiful little places in a prime location, a park for the kids is close by and off season the area is so quiet. If you're looking for dark skies at night and the peace of the ocean waves this is the place to be. Close to Eel River and their shops and not far from Dalhousie and it's light house.
