Royal Seoul House Restaurant
For a long-standing establishment like them, the Naengmyeon was surprisingly not that great. It was plain and even with us adding the vinegar and mustard, it still tasted … bland. Not sure why.The seafood pancake was very tasty though. When we got there, the outside looked like it was closed because no lights were on. Will still want to try their other dishes in the future.

The service is kind of slow and the food was a bit cold when served.My girlfriend and I tried the lunch special meal, the overall quality is decent, not much surprises. But the side dishes actually amazed us and we thought it was better quality than the main dishes lolAverage $30 per person.

In the sea of various KBBQ places in Vancouver, I was thankfully invited to Royal Seoul House for dinner with some friends! This place really commits to the experience with their decor and the dining option of floor and table seating. They also have a perfect sized menu that’s got something for everyone to enjoy from every category. I also really like how their BBQ Combos are set up! They are portioned for 2 people and I’d say are pretty fairly priced.We ordered BBQ Combo C (marinated beef ribs, sliced seasoned beef, beef belly and pork belly) with Lettuce Leafs on the side, LA Galbi (marinated beef ribs), Sweet & Spicy Crispy Fried Chicken, and Prawn Tempura.Personally, I felt like their Banchan (vegetable sides) could have been better in terms of variety and quality, but I’ll enjoyed the Kimchi. All cuts of the meat in the combo were super fresh and filling. However, I will say that all the meats were just lightly seasoned. I would have preferred a much richer marinade and more salt. Although more tasty, same goes for the Galbi. But YO, I was shocked at the portion of Fried Chicken! It’s a HUGE plate. It’s super crispy and yummy too! And of course you really can’t go wrong with Prawn Tempura so that was obviously delicious.Overall, I’d totally recommend this place if you are new to KBBQ. Their excellent service and desire to help you out, alongside their wide but easy-to-navigate menu make for a pleasant dining experience and the perfect place to bring a group of friends or family.

Very delicious Korean BBQ. We ordered 2 combos for 2 people, and it was just the right amount. However, they don't give you fresh vegetables so we had to order a plate of lettuce, and there weren't any other options.

Royal Seoul HouseThis was our first visit.Seating was comfortable.We ordered the Chosun Combination for 5.The food was amazing and there was plenty for the four of us.The service was excellent.The decor was beautiful. Spoke with the owner about the decor and she explained it was made in Korea along with the interior roofing tiles. Normally there is white paper in between the doors but they choose white plastic for durability.Highly recommended!

Disclaimer: I am rating this place as a vegetarian.This restaurant is very spacious inside and has beautiful tradicional decorations. I was shocked with how big it is. The service was good, very attentive staff and fast response. There was a problem with the ventilation the day we went so it was very smoky inside.Now for the food. My friend ordered a seafood dish and was satisfied with it. I ordered the bibimbap without the beef and egg. The sauce came on the side and it was mainly a sweet and spicy sauce. In my opinion, the dish was lacking in flavor. However, the tempura veggies were amazing and the appetizers they brought us free of charge were really tasty! As a vegetarian you might struggle with the food here. But if you eat meat, I’m sure you will love this place. It is always packed and it has a great ambiance as well.

The service was horrible. Having to constantly ring a bell to get attention. The kimchi tasted sour and the rice came with no lid. It would’ve gotten cold fast, so I had to ask for a lid before it got cold. The side dishes were limited to four only and o had to ask for more, instead of happily getting more they said finish what we had first, meanwhile it was 90% eaten. Like why even give me a dirty look, and why have to insist that we would like more as asked. The overall quality of food and service is very poor and will never come back. This is an absolute honest review and would advise you rethinking of ever frequenting this establishment. My pop was served in a can and did not even give me a glass for it. No water was brought to our table at all either. Only some weird tasting tea and never even came to ask if we were ok. Horrible experience! The young people that work there don’t care about their job, rolled their eyes and never came to see us once except to change the grill which burned so fast. The grill on the table didn’t even work too. They gave us this butane grill. The tempura shrimp was all breading and the shrimp was almost non existent and small as a quarter. Never coming back.

We went here last month. The food was good and large. The seafood fried pancake was crispy and highly recommended. The dry cabbage in pork neck bones and potato soup tastes traditional. One point we don't like is that 6 pieces of lettuce was charged for 3 bucks.

Royal Seoul House has been around forever... Well at least more than 30 years... Back then, choices for Korean restaurants was rather limited.We came by for lunch last month and ordered their new style bbq" which comes on a large sizzling pan with small octopus and pork belly in the middle and surrounded by corn
