Expensive. I had 2 pairs of sewing scissors sharpened. For the same price elsewhere, I could have had 5 pairs sharpened.

James and his crew are super friendly and talented. I brought in a few very obscure items that required a specific method to fix. As far as I know, he was the only shop in town with a press big enough to even accommodate the job, let alone the know how to get it done. Will definitely use again in the future. Thanks again, James and company!

I brought my business logo in and had a sign made. I was surprised how much detail was captured by the plasma cutter. From droping off the artwork to pick-up after powder coating was inside of a week.Great job!!!!!!

Great work by JKD. We just had our kitchen knives sharpened and they are better than when they were brand new. Reasonable pricing and great service. Would definitely recommend!

Saw ad on Facebook. Gentleman told me to go in. I did go in and placed an order and left deposit. I was told it would be 2 weeks. The order was for a piece of art as a gift for a wedding. Very unprofessional in the method of taking an order. The gentleman wrote my order on a very small piece of scrap paper, not an invoice. As I proceeded to leave he asked for a deposit. I gave him a $50.00 bill from my rent money. Again no receipt. I assumed it was a small shop and were not yet ready with an internal set up. Gentleman was very nice, just did not appear to be familiar with front office procedures. At day 10, I called to check on whether the art may be done early as I had to leave for the out of town wedding. It was not and in fact, the scrap piece of paper with the name on it could not be found. Gentleman on phone took the information again. I was prepared to courier gift when ready. A week after the wedding a sample drawing was emailed to me. Since the art was not yet made I asked if I could change the name on it as the couple received the exact gift made in their Wisconsin town. The gentleman was fine with the change or said I could cancel it all together if that was my option. I was going to follow through with getting the gift with the changed name until I was told to come into the shop again and provide a deposit. After thinking about it, I emailed and stated I had already provided a deposit. I received no response and wa out the 50.00. Obviously, the original man pocketed the money and discarded the paper. Very unhappy with the service I received and will not return. I am out the 50.00 and at have learned a valuable lesson not to trust people. Get an order sheet and invoice or do not place order. Their artwork is very nice IF you receive it! Lesson learned

Brought my lawn mower blade in to get sharpened and while there noticed that James also does metal work. He has some beautiful pieces and some awesome fire pits and fire pit rings that he has made. He will also do custom metal work. I had him put a table top on a rolling table I made to hide a propane tank. It was done in a couple days and was way beyond my expectations. James is a perfectionist! I plan on purchasing one of the fire pit rings with custom work. Thanks James and crew!
