We took a day trip on our vacation stay at Liscombe Lodge and had an amazing experience. We have visited a few times in the past but I must say this time it was over the top special. Every shop we went into was in full theatrical mode, the stories, the dress, the staff were on point. Huge shout out to the Temperance ladies, the store keeper, the saw mill gents and the black smith shop who sent us home with a special gift as they put their craft on display.

Great place to bring the family and spend the day. You can dress in period costume and have tons of fun. There is a restaurant on site for lunch and tons of buildings to explore. Local artisans work in front of your eyes and thier crafts are for sale in the gift shop. Most amazing of all is old fashioned Christmas it is a must go, no matter where your from. There is also a motorcycle run weekend, a car show weekend and concerts by amazing musicians.

Sherbrooke Village is a living history museum in Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia, Canada. It is a reconstruction of a 19th-century village, with 25 buildings that have been restored or rebuilt. The village is staffed by costumed interpreters who demonstrate traditional crafts and trades.Sherbrooke Village is a great place to learn about Nova Scotia's history and culture. Visitors can explore the village, talk to the interpreters, and participate in hands-on activities. The village is also a great place to take children, as they will enjoy learning about the past in a fun and interactive way.

Fantastic experience!!! Great little village and an incredibly friendly staff. I went with my wife, our two kids, my father in law, and his wife. We enjoyed every minute of our tour and learning about the history of Sherbrooke Village and the surrounding area. The exhibits were great and the gift shop sold stuff made in the village using the techniques and equipment that was used back in the day. Loved it, highly recommend it!!

The Village is fantastic. The staff all working together this last summer was such a wonderful service. The activities for both children and adults was amazing. We were lucky enough to be present on the day of a dog show as well as the Saturday market, which were both lovely surprises. The food in their café was fabulous, and the service was tremendous. We enjoyed exploring all the buildings and talking to the staff about the Village. Can't say enough good things. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved it. So many different buildings to go through, all staffed with very knowledgeable and talented individuals demonstrating how things were done/made back in the 1800s such as pottery, printing, woodturning, blacksmith etc. Buildings are authentic and actually in their original locations. I was very impressed with the village, and how friendly and informative everyone was. The Canada Day parade was really fun too, and I loved how it went right through the village! We look forward to returning!
