we rented a piece of equipment they never tested the operation of the equipment. when we were ready to use this it never fired up. on Monday when the store opened we were there waiting for them to give us one that was working they said this was the only one they had and we would have to wait a hour or so for them to get it working. once it was working they instructed how to use it for proper operation and tested it we used it. it worked well with no operating problems. when we returned the equipment we disputed the bill as we were not about to pay for a day that it wasn't operating. they said okay we will do you a favour and not bill you for that day. i said thats not no favour. then they billed us for the whole day Monday with no reconciliation for our loss of time and good faith instead they are trying to charge for repairs to the equipment after it was returned and left and i personally fired it up and tested it operation in front the mechanic. i asked for the contact information the owner the employee supervisor devon refused to provide anyway to contact to owner and as a result i will refuse to use any equipment or help this business stay in operation until a apology is given to us and that bill is proper and true

Booked the 2000-3000 pressure washer in advance over the phone. When we showed up it wasn't available, didn't have a record of our booking and rented out to us the stronger power washer at no discount. Wouldn't have needed to write a review but the power washer we used was barely holding it together. Would not come back again. Staff was nice though.

The staff here are hit or miss. Some really go above and beyond expectations but the are a couple who are clearly waiting for quitting time. Latest visit was terrific! They have almost any piece of equipment one might need.

Have rented Man-lift many times from Nor-Val. Always great to deal with and quick service for drop off and pick-up. Definitely my go to rental place in the Okanagan area.

Rented an oggar from NorVal very helpful. Then when I went to use it the ground was frozen (100% my fault for renting.) they called me to inform me they will not be charging me even though it was no fault of theirs. Great customer service will never go anywhere else. Well done.

Good prices on equipment that you don't want to buy because you will only need it once.

Rented a hedge trimmer, there was only one available, so the Assistant suggested I reserve it. I did not know I could do that, so I reserved the trimmer for the next Saturday. I was advised that I could keep it over the week end and pay for one day. It was also suggested that I take a gallon of fuel with me to ensure I had enough for the job.The trimmer shaft broke after only 2 hours of operation, so when I returned it & explained that, I was told, No problem. Would you like to reserve it again?" I did

Excellent service.We have seen an immense improvement since the new owners took over (from West equipment rentals to Nor-val).Their service is very good, everything we rent is in great working condition and they have stocked with a large amount of new equipment. My 4th time renting from these guys. Had one issue with a tiller but absolutely premium customer service saved the day so I left happy. Very thoughtful and helpful folks with ideas to save time and money.
