I'm not local to Saskatoon or else I would be a member. It's a great group of members and the space is always welcoming on their Tuesday night hack nights (which is what the 7-11 hours are). Also, they have an active IRC channel on Freenode called #sktechworks.

Saskatoon Techworks is an awesome resource for anyone interested in learning almost any hand-on creative skill or needing a space for things like that. Very friendly members and lots of tools make this place invaluable.

Not only is the space unique in the city for the range of tools, (3d printers, laser cutter, cnc, wood shop, soft space etc), included in the membership. With so many great personalities I expect to see a sitcom based on its members with several spin-offs a likely outcome.
