Alamo Rent A Car

Generally rent from Alamo whenever I can. I was pleased to learn that Alamo has a location at the Victoria Airport. Though off-site, this is not a problem. I have rented from other companies in the terminal and spent far more time getting a car than this took being off-site. The shuttle service is excellent, phoned for pick up and the driver was to the terminal in less than 5 minutes. When we arrived at the rental agency, our car was ready to go, paperwork was waiting, just had to sign and go.Staff are excellent to say the least, probably the best customer service I have experienced in over 100 rentals. Keep up the great service guys!!

Great service from beginning to end. Pick up from airport was easy and staff were ready when I arrived at office so paperwork was so fast! They had myself and another customer on the road within 15 minutes. Return was just as easy and quick. Every staff member I dealt with with was friendly and truly care about their customer experience.

Had such a great experience, found them through priceline. All the staff I dealt with seemed to be going out of their way for customer service. Super pleasant and making things efficient and easy for you as a customer. Knowledgeable and able to answer all questions, super efficient with time and price was fantastic. I will definitely be going back to them for any car rentals.

In Sep 2022, we rented for an Alamo car (a Hyundai Sonata) at the Ottawa airport for 9 days and had a mixed experience.We quickly noticed that the car, a Hyundai Sonata, was low on air in one of the rear tires. After re-inflating, we determined that the problem was a slow leak, but by then we were 2 hours north of Ottawa (near Petawawa, Ontario) and beyond the range for use of a temporary (donut) spare. In itself, this gave us quite a negative impression of Alamo's rentals.However, Alamo recovered well, by recommending that we contact a nearby Enterprise outlet in Pembroke for a tire repair. After about 24 hours, the repair shop determined that the tire could not be repaired, nor could they quickly find a new, replacement tire. As next steps, the Enterprise outlet was able to find us a replacement car in short order, and we continued on our way without incident.At our drop-off location (at the Pearson airport in Toronto) the local Alamo representative was pleasant and very helpful, including by readily providing a 1-day credit for the lost day due to the unsuccessful tire repair.Overall, we give Alamo poor marks for renting a car with a defective tire, but full credit for replacing the car and providing a credit for lost time. We are especially grateful to Matt and Adam at the Enterprise outlet in Pembroke and to Yasin at Alamo's outlet at the Toronto airport.Excellant service by Alamo/Enterprise staff compensated for Alamo's oversight in renting a car that was not fully operational.

Jessica really cares about her customers. I rented a car from this location for the first time its located 5 mins from the airport in Sidney. I wasn't sure about an off airport location but thought I'd give it a try. I'm glad I did! This is by far the best service I've received from any rental car company. They made sure I had the right vehicle I was comfortable driving for a road trip. I'll definitely be back. They also pick you up from the ferry or airport..

Great service here, both collection and return. Quickest rental I've experienced. On arrival at Victoria airport you need to phone and someone will come and collect you, as the office is off site a short distance. Dropping the car back, they used the same hire vehicle to return me to the terminal, so I didn't have to move luggage twice. Friendly staff
