Calvin is excellent at his trade. He communicated clearly, he contacts you before he is scheduled to confirm and does an amazing job. For me, I have well over two hundred feet of hedge that at some pints is twenty feet up to trim. Before he started my hedge looked terrible. He listened carefully to what I wanted and understood it was a long term repair to get the hedge to where it is now. I highly recommend him for his arborist abilities.

I can’t recommend Calvin and his company highly enough. They graded my large front yard, put soil down using a slinger truck and then hydro seeded. Everyone who worked on the job was friendly, professional and hard working. Calvin was always available to give updates and the work was all done for a very fair price (unlike some of his competitors who quoted crazy prices). It was a positive experience with no hidden surprises. We will definitely be using Gold Standard Gardens in the future!

I’m so glad to have found gold standard! From first contact with Calvin, he was quick to respond and even better at listening and understanding my vision for my front yard of our newly built home. He considered my ideas and created a plan that met them all. Then he worked his magic! It didn’t take long for his team to deliver….he and Sheldon, as well as the rest of his crew, worked hard to make our vision a reality. We are so thrilled with the outcome! Calvin has quoted us for several landscaping projects on our property. We love his design ideas and we’ll hire him again in the future. He is not pushy or arrogant…just a nice guy who clearly takes pride in his business, and making lasting connections in the community. Calvin did a fabulous job planting a row of privacy trees on our property recently. During rain delays he communicated well with us and kept us informed about the start and completion of project. Not only did he professionally tidy up the 'hack job' I performed on my shrubs and bushes but he turned our unruly yard into something much more manageable - Thank you! Over the past 20 years I have used a number of Landscape maintenance companies to maintain my property. Some of them unreliable, others were cheap but went out of business after a year and left me high and dry during the spring. I have been working with Calvin for the past three years and have been so impressed by his work. Not only is he highly knowledgeable but reliable, kind and thoughtful.
