Private Medical Clinic Montreal - ExcelleMD

Pros: Doctor was nice but not experienced, receptionist was nice and the clinic is clean.Cons: One of the worst private clinic experiences. First of all they charge you extra $35 for weekend without informing you. Second, if I pay for private, I expect better service than public. It took over a week to get my results when they reassured me my results would take no more than 2 days. This is because the doctor took a week to look over my results (the nurse confirmed they did have my results but could not comment). And WHEN THEY FINALLY called me, the nurse couldn't tell me my results in English. I am perfectly bilingual thanks to this province however I am not familiar with French medical terms. The nurse had to ask her colleague with no luck and told me to Google translate. This is supposed to be a medical professional. I'm sorry is this what I paid for? No thank you. Go anywhere else. You have been warned.

Dr Michel Maalouf is by far the best generalist MD I have ever had in Montreal. Genuine, straightforward and extremely diligent; I can’t thank him enough for everything he has done to me. The nurse and the medical assistant are super nice too! Great experience.

Terrible service.I came to this facility as a recommendations from my friend because i was feeling unwell. I had a bad headaches, shivers, weakness, aching muscles and joints. I was struggling to walk but managed to get to the front desk and when I was asked to see a doctor i was told that that they’re full and the next available appointment is in 10 days.I was rushed to Montreal Jewish hospital and was seen immediately. I was then rushed to the operating room because of massive internal bleeding.This place is not suitable to be a medical facility. No one is well trained or have the morals to fulfill their medical oath. They only care about the money apparently.If you feel sick, do not go to this place. Go to a real and certified establishment/hospital

Don't waste your money and your time. The doctor is unprofessional and will tell you that our meeting is only 15 minutes. They won't give you receipts and tell you the test results.

I hope there was a scale that start from ZERO, so I can rate this clinic with -10! Promising you with the result in 24hr for a test that will take less than half hr to have in any other clinic. And then after 24hr no one called, because they are waiting for the person who order the test to validate it! Moreover they don’t have the basic of customer service skills!In a follow up call from Dr Lamarre after seeing my rating and comment: thank you so much for caring, it was a bad experience but your call showed me that there is a room for improvement. I really appreciate it and I wish you all the best in your practice.

I must say Doctor Ateeque is most kind gentle and good listener doctor I never met, she is always can make me less stress during my appointment. And she is so patient to explain the terms to me about my cases. 5 stars to her, and big thank you her!!! but the phone call really hard to reach …

The Good:. Plenty of parking, reasonable space available same day or next day visits, very little delay time between your appointment time and the time you are seen.The Bad:. My doctor was just okay. He was late arriving to the clinic lol, so after seeing the nurse, I had to wait afterwards. The value given the cost was average in my opinion. I had much better experience at other private clinics. Went to see them, 10 days later since I was not better, was charged again the full consultation fee ( that really sucked).

Worst waste of money ever. Im pretty sure the guy was looking on google to diagnose me, in the end he just prescribed me bunch of expensive medication because he did not know what I had. He even admitted it himself. The guy was clueless. Went to another medic, and they diagnosed me with something completely different. Worst 160$ spent, for only 5 minutes of consultation.

HORRENDOUS clinic. Absolutely unreachable, can't make appointments, their payment process doesn't work (your appointment gets cancelled if you haven't paid 48h ahead) and if you're lucky enough to spend the countless hours going through this process, you will simply get a prescription with a 'follow-up' appointment. Absolute capitalists only looking to make profits and don't care at all for their patients.
