It is a five star experience across the board.The second you walk down the hall before crossing the door, you get that feeling of walking into a parallel world of joy. The lightning is bright enough yet comfortable, then the host walked us through the kitchen, where we were welcomed by the team, before reaching our table in the second room. We took the discovery experience, the food and its presentation was as good as it gets, the wine pairing was very well done and accompanied by just the right amount of explanation.This is a discovery for me and I will definitely return.

First time visiting this lovely city, made reservations for this 5 star restaurant, and it did not disappoint!We were a party of two and did the surprise tasting menu which consisted of 5 dishes I believe. The main meat dish was venison, and it was so flavourful, so tender, it melted in my mouth, the sauce that was with it paired so perfectly. Every dish was fantastic and so was the presentation.Loved the atmosphere of the restaurant, the seating, the decor, the ambiance was perfect.Will definitely eat here again in the future.

Interesting dishes but nothing standout. Felt a little like creativity for creativity's same despite the crowd likely appreciating more solid, expected fare.The chef inspiration dish of the day was a cold smoked whitefish with aquachile refreshments. I thought the pairing with strawberry and aquachile flavours were too strong, and would've been better with just avocado and lime dressing.The black pudding was overly heavy, with the dark crab bisque, and the shrimp ravioli was mostly flavorless. Could've done with a lighter dressing, although the pudding was fairly good.The lamb boulac was alright, probably the best, very well cooked and tender, and the polenta corn was a good pairing but I've had much crispier, tastier polenta.

Absolutely amazing place to find! The food, service, and wine pairings were the best I’ve had! Can’t recommend this place enough if you are ever in Quebec City. The flavor profiles and new tastes that I had will stay with me forever!

We were walking down the street, undecided which to eat. A senior couple walk over and said, eat here, its the best restaurant and inside is beautiful. We went in after them. The staffs are extremely friendly toward us even we look Asian. The wonderful part of the experience is that they will tell you where the food came from and describe each dish before we eat. Each dish’s portion was perfect and dedicated. The food were flavourful and each combination match within its own dish. This is indeed one of the best restaurant I have ever been to. Definitely will visit the restaurant again for my next visit to Quebec City.

Excellent food experience. We had the spring tasting menu, 3 course including beet and mozzarella salad. Very impressed with the trout and asparagus creamy barley main dish. Finished with the coconut ice cream & tangerine dessert. Very thing is very fresh and light yet tasty and complimentary. The décor is very south of France with reclaimed antiques. Love it.

Excellent food and wine pairing. Had pre-fixe 3 course +1 with wine pairing. Then added black pudding b4 dessert, so total 5 courses. It turns out great and definitely will recommend to friends if they are around.

We had high hopes for this place based on the reviews. Sadly, we were disappointed overall with the flavours and lack of refinement for each dish that we ordered. The service was good, and the atmosphere pleasant, but we came here for the food. Perhaps we had high expectations because of our experience in other highly-rated restaurants we visited days before. The composition of ingredients for each dish just didn't mesh well. Perhaps all the effort was placed in the prix fixe menu being offered this evening. But we had hoped at least one dish of the five dishes we ordered would be a hit. We did enjoy the blood pudding on it's own, however, our favourite dish ended up being the fresh baked bread with butter. A bit overrated.

I’m Quebec City to celebrate our anniversary and decided to partake in the 4 course Rioux and Pettigrew experience. We were not disappointed. The food was expertly prepared and exquisitely presented. We were so excited to eat it we forgot to take picture of the first course and dessert course. The 2nd course, beef tar-tar, and the 3rd course, octopus, are pictured. All for we’re good experiences that made us feel we were judges on Top Chef.Our server Alex also did a great job of explaining the wine pairings, and ensured the dishes avoided our food sensitivities.Hope to be able to come back soon.
