Little Steps Childcare Centre

My son has been attending the Little Steps Kindergarten before and after school care since September 2021. We are so happy with the program and the care that he is receiving. The hours are great for working parents and they run full-day care on PD days so we do not have to worry about finding alternative care. Most days when we come to pick him up we find the group playing outside which is wonderful - I'm so glad he gets lots of time to play and explore outdoors. We would recommend this childcare centre.

Our son has attended little steps for pre school and after school care. All the teachers have been so great to work with. They are very comforting to the kids. I really enjoy the amount of time they spend outside everyday. Especially during the pandemic they were so great and never worried about sending him there. Would definitely recommend Little steps and all the great staff!

During the pandemic restrictions, our son had trouble adapting to social situations when daycare was back in session. We worked with a behavioural therapist and child psychologist, but even with a plan and additional resources our previous daycare couldn’t/wouldn’t work with us, and it was really hard to explain why to a then 3-4 year old.Little Steps was not only open to the plan, they coordinated with his home room teacher and did a great job transitioning him into the group. He’s now developed trust with his caregivers and more of his peers. I’m really proud of our little guy and grateful to the staff for their continued support and playfulness.

Little Steps Childcare Centre provides amazing care for the kiddos they have. Their staff are great and the director is responsive to inquires and committed to quality care! I have had two children enrolled in their programs and they have both really enjoyed being there. Little Steps provides an enriching environment with good child to caregiver ratios, and they provide fun and memorable opportunities for parent involvement. I was very impressed with their staff members' patience, kindness, and understanding with the children's various personalities and the staff were very good at working with the kids to encourage them to participate in all activities.

My kids loves Little Steps. The team is great and the kiddos loves them! I recommend to anyone looking for a great daycare.

My wife and I visited a good handful of preschool centres and we couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Little Steps. We love their teaching program and the encouragement of outdoor, messy, open-ended play. Our daughter looks forward to going every time! We also appreciate greatly the wonderful staff and admin of Little Steps. Their communication, quick response, attentiveness and care is key. Especially during the pandemic.

Little Steps is a wonderful childcare centre. The team is caring, enthusiastic and fun. Great option for Riverbend School families for out of school care. My family love Little Steps.

My wife and I have had a fantastic experience with Little Steps. Our daughter is high energy and needed a little help adjusting to the new facility, but the staff were all warm and patient with her. I would highly recommend.

My kindergartener loves little steps ! The teachers are great and are always coming up with fun activities lead by the children’s interests. The hours are great and works so perfectly that it’s located right in the school - gives them access to the gym and playground! My daughter was nervous about going into school/daycare for the first time but the teachers totally put her at ease and she had no problem going after realizing how much fun it was after the first few days. They also offer care on PD days which is key for working parents !
