Visited the Esquimalt location today. Super friendly and helpful staff. Really calm and nice environment with a good assortment of books and toys for my kiddo as well.I will definitely be visiting again

The new location was well worth the wait! They did a beautiful job with the look, feel and layout of this space - very open, bright and the strong usage of wood really warms the space. Some great breakouts as well!

Turning printers off a full 15mins before you close a terrible oversight to the people who have very little time or opportunity to print vital documents such as resumesSeveral people including myself were prevented from printing while library was still openI’m sure this happens all the timeAnd no one is doing anything to change itAnd this is not listed on the websiteGood one library - whoever thought this one out as probably wealthy and out of touch the needs of the community

Very clean and modern facilities, friendly and helpful staff. Lots of space for reading and a decent selection of graphic novels. My only complaint was the lack of books on ancient history but otherwise a very pleasant experience

The new Esquimalt Public Library is absolutely beautiful!! Spacious, bright with lots of natural light and nice private meeting rooms available to use for meetings & study groups at no charge. We are very lucky to have this gem available to all in of us to enjoy.

Since moving into the new location, there's now an art gallery as well as Esquimalt Roasting Company ( coffee shop) all in one building so it's a great place to grab a cup of coffee and read a book or even check out the art gallery too. But definitely recommend going there for sure.

Staff is kind, display books are appealing, great variety. Covid guidelines haven't changed the loving atmosphere of this library.Edit. Added new pictures after the renovation!My kids love it here, it is so aesthetically pleasing and calm to just spend time here! We love it in here even more!

The new Esquimalt branch is an awesome improvement to our old branch!Now located in Esquimalt Town Square on the ground floor, this new building and facility meets all our communities needs!Private study areas, lots of space and light, great reading areas and work areas. The new bathrooms are a step up and gender neutral. Each bathroom is single occupancy for complete privacy.The staff are very helpful and it is a very peaceful place to look for media or just complete a study project online.Lots of great services (check out their web page for more).
