I firmly believe this is the best salon in Kingston if you are interested in going blonde. The whole salon is gorgeous. You are warmly greeted upon arrival and are offered a beverage. The stylists are friendly and very skilled at their craft. The services were very affordable and are comparable to most places in the city. If you are thinking about checking out a new salon would HIGHLY recommend this place!

The shop is beautiful and the stylists are kind and very helpful. I had my first appointment with Kelly who did an amazing job on my birds-nest of hair. She used wonderful products that helped with all my frizzy flyaways and I couldn't be happier. Thank you for a great experience!!

Jill cut my hair and it is perfect! She always knows what is best for me and the style lasts till my next appt. 5 star for sure!!

My absolute best salon experience. I had my hair cut and coloured by Jill and it was so incredibly beautiful! Took my blah locks and gave me magic. She listened to every detail I described and nailed the colour I had envisioned. I can not wait to get the Oak & Ivory experience again!

I had a great experience at Oak + Ivory. A beautiful storefront and esthetic was the tip of the iceberg here. Jessie was communicative and friendly leading up to and during the appointment, gave me the style I was looking for, and made me very comfortable while I was in the salon. Quality products & following guidelines/protocols. Will absolutely visit again!

This salon is absolutely gorgeous. As soon as you walk in the door it’s instant relaxation. Jill and Jessie have both done my hair, and I trust them completely. Their amount of skill, talent, and professionalism is outstanding. Whether it’s guiding you in the right direction of a new style or maintaining your current look, these girls have got you covered. I’m so thankful to have found them and their studio. You will not be disappointed.

Jessie and Tabitha were so wonderful to work with on my wedding day. Jessie designed an updo that was exactly what I’d pictured and Tabitha did a beautiful job with my makeup. They were both so lovely to work with, very communicative and attentive, making sure I had input every step of the way. I was so happy with how everything turned out, and so appreciated how hard they worked to make sure hair and makeup went smoothly on the day!

Such an incredible salon, from the stunning decor to the incredibly talented stylists, this salon has far surpassed my expectations. I typically stick to low maintenance colour appointments like ombre or balayage, and I can go over a year without my hair looking bad or grown out, I get compliments on my hair even 6 months - a year after having it done. I also have had Jill do my hothead extensions, and have had great results, no damage and a great way to add length and get a different look without having to be patient and wait for my hair to grow out. I swear by Jill's colouring skills, and will drive over an hour every time to have her do my hair.. Love the look of the new salon, great work ladies!

I had an appointment with Tabitha today for a haircut and it was a phenomenal experience. I've put off getting my hair professionally done for years due to bad experiences, but Tabitha made me feel so at home! She took time to go over what I wanted and she discussed how she thought she could best incorporate it. I walked away with beautiful hair, no anxiety, and a smile! I'll definitely be going back to see her and would highly recommend.
