Tower On The Hill

Really enjoyed living here, overall. The building is nice and quiet, with minimal noise coming from surrounding suites or outdoors. I've found living in Boardwalk properties to be a good experience, maintenance requests are usually completed very quickly, and the staff are polite and friendly.My only minor issues with the building was a patio light that would turn on early in the evening that a tenant has no control over, there is no dedicated bike storage in the parkade (could be an easy thing to do), and the balcony railing is quite solid and limits the amazing view this building has.Overall I recommend living here!

This is our second time at this building. The first time a few years ago was not so pleasant, and left us with a really bad experience.We noticed that management had changed, and was willing to do a full circle and try it one last time because we love the area.I am not the type to go out of my way to write reviews, but when I see exceptional service within management I feel compelled to share my experience because it is so rare.Jax is one of the nicest and competent managers I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in the 22 years I have been renting. Jax has a big heart and has the tenant's best interest while still maintaining professionalism within his position.Without exaggeration 90% of management not just in the rental field but all fields of work should be taking notes from him on how to manage with humility and respect.I am a company owner and have noticed in the short time dealing with Jax that I would hire him in a heart beat just due to his commitment and integrity.The day my family moved in we had some plumbing issues. Not only did he send someone in right away (with in minutes) he personally came up to my unit and made sure that everything was satisfactory and resolved.I can not vouch for any other building or management within the boardwalk community, but I can say without a doubt that if you come to live at Tower on The Hill, Jax will take care of you and will treat you fairly. At the least he will do his best to help you what ever way he can.I would also like to also give a big thanks to maintenance for the speedy service, knowledge, professionalism and the exceptional service provided. This is what quality feels like and it feels good to know that my family can live without the worry of having to fight to get something done, as what we have experienced with other places.10/10 service hands down.

Jax is literally the best manager ever. I'm very impressed with how well run the building is. No riff raff coming and going, no loud noise, etc. Maintenance really keeps on top of things and the building is always clean. I would definitely recommend others.

Jax is absolutely the best manager I have ever met, he is friendly and helpful to everyone and seems to have a great relationship with the tenants.This building is very convenient for students, it is not far from Whyte Avenue and the campus.

Looking for a great building with great views and almost all the amenities you need close by? Look no further then here.I love living here, been in my suite for two years and can’t ask for a better place. Not to mention with the river valley being so close, the late night summer walks are amazing. Jax is the man, couldn’t ask for a better landlord. Any request I need done he will get on it immediately and is always very personable, easy to talk to. Rob the maintenance guy is amazing as well as the whole team. My apartment got flooded in February and the urgency they took to fix it was amazing, got me back in my apartment the same day.Overall couldn’t ask for a better building to live in. If anyone is considering moving, I’d advise to do so before it’s too late

I moved in this building at February. I am new tenant, but loved my experience so far. The location is very convenient. I almost don't drive here. 7 min of walk to Whyte, and 5 min of walk to Queen Elizabeth Park and other parks... And the manager does all the difference. Jax is very helpful, reliable and friendly. Also accessible. The manager is very important because you need to trust the person if anything happens. This is the key of feeling at home. I had to move from the my former rental because the apart was not bad, but the management was horrible. So I feel at home now. Thank you, Jax.

The leasing manager is accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. He is also very enthusiasyic, which is extremely helpful.The neighborhood is very conveniently located and although it’s a lively neighborhood the apartment is very quiet! Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

(6 months in) while the management is very helpful, and the location is still good as a student, the building itself is quite old and has poor insulation for the Edmonton winters. Besides that, the apartment interiors also feel somewhat low quality - most of your rent is going into the location of the building. Plus, if you live on the lower floors, Saskatchewan Drive can be quite loud for you if you keep the windows open.One thing that's made my experience here particularly bad is the fact that the building has no rules against smoking on the balcony - during the summers when your windows are open you can constantly smell cigarette smoke coming into your apartment whenever your neighbours smoke.
