If I could give 0 star, I will. As a new onboard customer, the support never get back to me even our company paid for Within 2 hours support service. Very frustrating experience.The reply to my comment is the most fastest way to get a respond.Please someone from Support contact me as a customer otherwise my company is just wasting the time after on boarding to get Smartsync working. VERY FRUSTRATING!

I would NOT recommend Beanworks to companies. Their payment module does not work properly. They use a third party payment providers, and it doesn't work well.The SmartPayables they use for checks. We cannot get our correct business name printed on those checks. Been trying to get this updated since we started. All paperwork we submitted was correct, it was just someone entering our data in wrong. It has been 8 months so far of constant requests through customer service, emails, and phone calls, and it still isn't done. It is embarrassing sending checks to our vendors with our company name incorrectly printed on them. These checks sent by SmartPayables also get lost, and it has costs us quite a bit in stop payment fees on our bank.There are ALWAYS sync issues, and when they fix one thing, some else breaks and ends up costing us in vendor later payment fees. it can take up to two or three weeks to send an ACH, because they can't fix the errors timely. We first used NVoicePay to send out ACH payments, but the link for our vendors to use to sign up for ACH went to different companies that weren't us. When a vendor did sign up, if their company name didn't match what NVoicePay had in the their system down to the letter, they just didn't set them up. And we were not notified of this mismatch whatsoever. So it was a lot of wasted effort on behalf of our vendors. There is nobody to contact to updated vendor addresses that are incorrect in system, and when payments went out using their system, NVoicePay decided where they went to, rather than allowing us to decide, which is what should have happened because we have the relationship with these vendors, not NVoicePay. Many of vendors never received payment. And those funds were taken out of our bank account by NVoicePay.Then we switched to Cambridge to send ACH. The client does not do their own onboarding. You create a CSV file with all the vendor banking info on it, and then email it to customer service. About two, maybe three weeks later (assuming someone at Beanworks picks it up in the first place) they notify you that it has been completed. Then you spend several weeks going back and forth with customer service, because not all the vendors you submitted to them were set up correctly.If you are a company with several legal entities, on the payment module in Beanworks, it does not display which legal entity is sending the payment you are approving. This is a HUGE problem if you are a company that sends payments to vendor from several legal entities, because you can't tell where the money is coming from. Also on the payment module you cannot see the approvals. You must open a new tab to see the approvals on the invoice, which is tedious if you have one payment to pay something like 30 invoices.On the invoice module, if you are the approver for the invoice, and you are coding it, you cannot put a note in the approval box, whereas every person who approves after you can. This a problem because on the Beanworks app you can ONLY see what is put in the approval box, not the comments. I have to constantly push the invoice forward and then reset it, so I can make approval comments. It is very time consuming.Finally, the line item capture, isn't worth the extra money. And the two hour response time, we paid for about 7 months, and we had to be refunded for 4 of those months because we never received that service.

I would give 4 stars out of 5 for the actual software but they lose stars for their customer support. They are all very polite and professional but getting things fixed is extremely slow. I use many different accounting systems and most software companies if not all have direct phone numbers where I can get assistance immediately. Beanworks doesn't operate like that. They have a ticket system that can take days or even weeks to get solutions for which is unacceptable in my opinion, specially considering the high price of their service/software. I would recommend evalulating all your options before signing up with Beanworks as other procurement software may better serve you.

A rapidly expanding company that has zero interest in support. Disgraceful ticket times, can take over a week to reply to service requests. Completely unacceptable that month-end / quarter-end closes are delayed. It’s been a problem for at least 6 months.Just when I think this company can't be any less professional a notice was sent informing customers that the support team will be unavailable on a business day while Beanworks has its Annual Summer Party". Wild."

I would not recommend beanworks. I have tried contacting their technical support no less than 5 times in the last two weeks without a response.Their software does not work. As an example, when an invoice is rejected it deducts from a PO total regardless. When in fact it should only deduct from a PO balance if the invoice is approved. Such basic functionality issues illustrates how terrible this program is. I would mention this to tech support if they would ever call me back but hopefully someone from their company reads it here.
