Attaches photo: No Canadian Tire, you do not have the right to search peoples personal belongings just because they-re in your store.Horrible store, truly horrific. Messy, no price tags on tons of items and horrible service. The lady at self checkout ignored me when my register wasn't working, so I went to another and paid. She then came after accusing me of stealing. The security guard refuses to let you leave unless he checks all your bags and purses (saw him check at least 5 or 6 people). Apparently its a new canadian tire policy" which is bogus."

Store doesn't follow AODA Accessibility for Ontarins with Disabilities Act law at all. As you can see people with mobility devices like wheel chairs can navigate the aisle because they are not wide enough. I was called by the Manger of the store and he said his Christmas stock needed room to put up at the time. Accessibility is a right not a option.

Worst experience ever, if i can give 0 star, or negative star, I would. This use to be my favourite location, but after their reno, their shelves are always empty, even though their online site said there are lot of stuff. You can never find any staff at the store, and even if you find one, they know nothing. Not helpful at all~~I went there yesterday to get some recycling bags, and as always, the shelves are empty, so I have to look around the store for 10 minutes to find a red shirt staff, and then she told me that she doesn't work on that floor, so she doesn't know. She then guide me to find another staff who is wearing a black shirt. As he was serving another customer, so I waited for another 10- 15 minutes, and then he told me that he works in the warehouse, so he knows nothing about the stock on the shelves. Then he told me to find employee wearing red shirt, and I told me that the red shirt staff told me to ask you, and then now you tell me to ask the red shirt staff. I mean this is totally RIDICULOUS.Finally I find another red shirt staff and ask her about the stock, she then told me to wait at the aisle for another staff to come and help me.Of course another waiting game for 5-10 minutes, finally a staff arrives and she check the stock level on machine she carries on her hand, and then climb up those safety ladder, and still not able to find the stock. She then has to go and check elsewhere, then coming back telling me the people who is operating the forklift machine need to take 15 minutes to get it, and ask me if I want to come back later.I told her no, I am going to wait. She then come back with the product in less than 3 minutes.Almost spent an hour just to get 2 boxes of recycling bags. Not to mention that they also have those staff chasing after you and ask you to sign up for their Canadian Tire credit card, and even if you tell them you have their card already, they will ask whoever is coming with you to sign up for one. If all your staff can be as enthusiastic that will be great. And this time they have people from Rogers. That is pretty annoying~~I don't think I will come back to this location, unless is something I need urgently.

This location is technically wheelchair accessible. It's the closest one to me which is why I go, but every time I have been there over the past several years the staff are continually blocking off the aisles in a way that affects (primarily) disabled people. On a bad run, I will have to go six aisles out of my way to find somewhere that I can fit my chair through, because of the way they move and leave the stock all over the floor, and directly in the middle of aisles. If I were using a walker or cane, I would not be able to come to this store. Last time I visited, they had moved a giant 4 ft by 4 ft metal crate, blocking the path to the elevator and I had to speak to three different people to explain why I needed them to move it so I could go downstairs. Each of them told me to just go use the elevator. I ended up having to move it myself with the help of my motorized chair, after waiting for a manager. Generally speaking, I need to circle around the outside aisles of the store to find an aisle that is not blocked so I can get to where I'm going to and then have to come all the way back around and repeat that process to get out. When I come here, I find it very stressful because of the daily decisions made by staff to make this an inaccessible environment for disabled people who use devices. If they were not doing what they were, it would be an accessible store with the width. If you can buy your goods somewhere else, I would recommend it. Unfortunately some of the work that I do requires me to come here in person. Next time I will take photos to add.

Canadian Tire CS and products are getting worse and worse! Tired, indifferent, and unhelpful store associates and managers at the Dundas St. location.I went to return a damaged foldable 6ft table today that had a big hole which was covered conveniently by the product photo paper. It's very interested the paper was placed conveniently where the hole was so customers can't see the damage in the store until you go home and open the product, and then when you try to get a refund, they refuse. Where’s the logic in that! Maybe customers should be able to open the products in the store to ensure what you’re selling is actual good??Selling damaged products that are not inspected for quality and then refusing to refund is extremely frustrating. Spoke to 3 different people - the supervisor couldn't even be bothered to listen to me and kept walking away until I spoke to the manager who had a little bit more sense and reason. I had to push back really hard to get my money back even though this was their fault and they act like they did you a favor when you finally get a refund. No apologies. YOU DID NOT DO ME A FAVOR!!! YOU DID WHAT YOU’RE SUPPOSE TO!!!This was the most unpleasant and frustrating experience I have ever had at Canadian Tire. Do your customers a favor: if you're going to enforce NO refunds and exchange only, inspect your products thoroughly before selling it to people and wasting our time. You lost a customer! Worst experience and never coming back!

It used to be such a good store to shop at. Now it looks like a badly organized thrift shop with horribly laid out aisles, products on top of each other, no easy access, no way to bring your cart up and down anymore. Worse of all, you’re treated as a criminal the moment you step into the store. The experience was horrendous.Would not go back until the store is changed back to the way it was and the experience improved. I used to love going to location. The new management/ownership has sunk it to the ground.

I’m a big fan of Canadian tire, but I would recommend avoiding this branch (the liberty village one is great). But after todays visit to this branch, I won’t be returning. For some reason they treat the shop like a warehouse, they pull out tons of crates and leave them everywhere (pictures below only show a few of the isles but the whole store is like this). Good luck if you need wheelchair access. After trying to leave, I (along with every customer) had to queue up to have receipts and bags checked. Even dolarama trust there customers enough to let them leave without a interrogation.Next time I’ll save my time, energy and frustrations and just buy on Amazon

Worst store in the chain. Merchandise strewn all over the place. Aisles blocked all over the place, signs for things that are elsewhere, odd layout, travel accessories next to toilet paper and a display of lamps at the top of the escalator, staff that know nothing. Only one cashier, every time I go, there's one less. All robots! I spoke with a lady trying to get me to sign up for the triangle card told me she shops elsewhere 'cause SHE can't find anything either.Only go because it's the closest to me and I'm a bit mobility impaired.

Good grief. What a dump. I've always loved shopping at CT, until I hit this dump. I could hardly move in some sections. Several aisles blocked, shelves strewn with items people have dropped, dirty, dark and claustrophobic to the max. Staff are useless. Cryptic shelf tags if there's one at all. One cashier, the rest self check robots. A staff member told me she could not find anything either so she shops at a different location, maybe you should too". Don't even try if you are in a wheelchair or Walker."
