Holiday Inn & Suites Regina, an IHG Hotel

Great place to stay. It was extremely affordable. The Perkins restaurant on-site had free meals for kids under 12, which was fantastic. Rooms were very spacious and clean. The pool is on the smaller side but it may have just felt that way because there was a group of about 15 kids and 15 adults for a sports event there while we stayed. Kids still had a blast on the water slides. No complaints.

Stayed here while my uncle was in ICU at the hospital. Walked in and booked 3 nights. First night was fine, when checking in we asked for the room to be cleaned every day. We got back to the room after a very stressful day to find it hadn't been cleaned, we weren't too concerned as they might have been having a busy day, however 10 minutes after getting to the room the manager called saying the hotel was fully booked and when we're we checking out. Tried to say we only booked for one night. Was very rude. Then started backtracking wanting to know what staff member checked us in. No apology nothing, then i ask what time our room will be cleaned, I'm told the staff is gone for the day.If we had only booked for one night then our keys would have stopped working by noon, like they did on our third day there.We ended up staying 8 days because my mom was so exhausted by what was happening with my uncle she couldn't deal with switching hotels, But seriously underwhelmed.The only high note was our amazing cleaner Aksa!!! She really did an amazing job keeping our room tidy. It was a relief to come back to a clean room after every stressful day.

This hotel is insanely loud. There were people partying in the hallways and children going wild in the room above us until 1 AM. I barely slept either night of the stay. When I complained to the hotel staff, little was done until I had complained three times. I was called by a manager after I had checked out and was offered 10% off my stay, which I accepted. I was told it would be refunded to my credit card, and they never even bothered to do this. It has been a month since this conversation which I have recorded on my phone and would post here if I could. Highest recommendation to avoid at all costs.Edit: Apparently there is a new manager, as I received a phone call from an employee that indicated they were going to refund my credit card as promised. This has actually been done now and I have edited my score accordingly. Maybe the place has turned over a new leaf?

Room walls are very thin, you can hear people talking and walking in the hallway.There was a flood in the lobby while I was there with water just pouring out of the ceiling..But the bed was pretty comfortable.

The room itself was awesome. Clean and neat. What we expected as shown in the pictures. Checking in was very slow. Long line with only one staff working. The whole hotel smelled like pool water. Our bathroom sink was clogged up. Spacious parking spots. Convenient location near everything.
