Gallery on The Lake

We were there to replace the roof . We could see many paintings through the windows . It's very clean and we'll kept. The view was amazing . I would recommend to anyone visiting the area to stop inn and have a look .

Wonderful large gallery with many spectacular Canadian artists for sale. The Christian Morriseau expedition caught my eye but so many more lovely works. We got their late in the day but were warmly greeted and will be back when we are in the area.

It's a sad day. As of April 2022, The buildings and property has Sold and is now a private residence and no longer opperates as a buisness. I believe Art is available on line to purchase. Though a disappointing closure, Buckhorn remains vibrant, diverse and beautiful with so many wonderful attractions from cultural excursions to Curve Lake, local Buckhorn winery tours and tastings, to year round holiday destinations accommodations & dinning, most of which are family owned and operated.Buckhorn is a closeby destination that everyone should visit!

This is a fine art gallery that sells upmarket Canadian art. I am lead to understand that they're in the top tier of sellers of current Canadian artists, but I'm not an expert in the field. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a top notch Canadian work of art and are willing to spend a significant amount of money on it.Just as an aside, they sell more than just paintings.

The building interior could use a modernizing face lift, but I was really impressed. The gallery and grounds are gorgeous and their collection of artwork was fantastic. This is also a retail gallery so you can buy something if you love it!

Very interesting, lovely building, wonderful setting by the water. Canada's largest private gallery all types of original art by Canadian artists. Bought a gorgeous burled Spotty Hard Maple Bowl by Leo Condon. No entry fee, a little off the main road but worth the side trip.

This is one of the best private galleries, in a gorgeous setting, to see top Canadian arts. So glad we stopped.

I emailed the gallery on Oct 6, 2020. Inquiring about being a featured artist in the gallery and how to go about being involved.I got a reply at first, the gallery did not match my formality through the email chain while asking if I had a website.At the time, I did not. So I offered (for the second time) links to my social media platforms. They did not reply.So I finished the website I had previously started and revived our email chain, maintaining the formality on my part while offering a website this time.They continue to simply ignore me.Highly unprofessional and also disappointing to see from a gallery that wants to showcase local artists" especially for such a small location that we are.I've changed my mind on visiting this location."
