Gary did a fantastic job with our home inspection. He was very personable, knowledgeable and had no problems answering all of our questions. We were under a very tight timeline with our condition day. Gary had a very thorough report to us later the same evening complete with photos and a detailed description for each issue encountered, big or small. He also cared enough to follow up with us to see how things turned out. I would highly recommend Gary to anyone looking to have a quality home inspection done where your best interests in this huge purchase come first.

After already earning a certificate of training through Carson Dunlop, I decided to hire Gary for his one on one training and mentoring before doing my practical license test inspection. 3 days with Gary were every bit as, if not more, valuable in backing up months of book work. Gary has a huge amount of knowledge and a very wide breadth of experience. The training was worth every penny and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for training for anyone, and he'd definitely be the guy I would want to hire to inspect a home I was buying. We had a very good experience with Gary of Sherlock Holmes Inspectors. We were able to book in a home inspection quite quickly and we received the full report that evening. The report was very thorough and will be quite helpful in prioritizing maintenance projects on our home. After the fact Gary was more than willing to discuss the details of the report and even offered to come back to the house to double check something we weren't sure about.

Gary inspected a house for us. He is very responsive to emails and text messages, patiently and clearly answers questions, and very good at explaining things to a lay person. You know that he is in your court when you observe how thoroughly and meticulously he inspects the home. The home inspection report was completed the morning after the inspection and was very well done with pictures, some video and clearly written descriptions of issues and recommended actions/followup. Gary found several issues with the house and one of the issues would have costs thousands to address. We plan on using Gary to inspect the another house in the near future.
