ServiceMaster Restore of Vancouver

Despite having engaged the Operations Manager regarding the slow responses and lack of communication from this company, my small bathroom water damage project remains unfinished. I first contacted Service Master and the work started in May 2022, there were entire months with no work and no communication from the project team. I have constantly had to contact them to get updates with little to no response. There seems to be a lack of project management and no accountability with the contractors that did show up. Right now I am left with a mess of broken tiles and discarded supplies.UPDATE: The day after posting this review there were 2 individuals from ServiceMaster that showed up to take the garbage and clean the space.

SM caused me significant delays by not returning phone calls (They told me 3 times they would either come back with, or call and never did) • SM never returned with drying equipment, again they said they would.• Later lied to the property manager about what was discussed and gaslit me over the phone. I was well aware how busy they were and I gave them the benefit of the doubt up until the part where the project manager lied.

I'm in 119 - 22nd Street West in North Van. I see your tech 'Masi' every once in a while - booked by my strata, but he's such a hard worker and a really nice guy... I wanted to give him props from the 5th floor - thank you for caring about the little things too

I recently had a flood at my house and we used service master for our restoration. Mike Paria Was our project Mgr. Mike and his team did an amazing job. My son was in the hospital during the restoration and when Mike found out, he completely took care of everything. My husband and I felt relieved that our home was in good hands and could focus on the care of our son.when we returned home with our son, our home was 100% complete and clean immaculately (thank you to Shawna for an amazing job)! Thank you Mike and team for going above and beyond! I was extremely happy with the service and trades that came to do all my repairs. The project manager Mike Faria was extremely knowledgeable and helpful in getting g the work done on time and on time. I would this company to anyone in need of a restoration.

The worst customer service and most difficult company I ever deal with in my life at this moment. Tried to contact the project manager via email, text and vm for many times and never has any replies. After moving out my home almost one and half years from the leak, my insurance adjuster asked me to move back as it is livable. However, I am so disappointed and sad that my home is only completed 50% where there is no light and hood in the kitchen to make me barely for cooking, painting is not done, no fire alarm, no sprinkler and so on. It seems like I am living with the mess and rubbish right now without any update how long the work can be done. I chose service master because it is the contractor with my insurance that I was trusting its professionalism, but it turns lack of trust after all the issues happened.

ServiceMaster sent a contractor to fix a leak in room below balcony. First day our balcony was torn up. Workers tracked mud on our light carpet all day in and out, slamming the door each time. A tarp was erected and the balcony has not been touched since. It has been 2.5 months. We don't have use of our balcony and our windows are covered by a tarp. March 16, 2023 - May 30, 2023.

After some issues at the beginning of the project for restoration for an unfortunate Christmas Eve water damage that occurred in my condo. Mike Faria was assigned as my new project manager. Once Mike took over everything was handled in an efficient and professional manner, Mike has a great personality and was on top of any concerns, and answered all of my questions. The teams Mike sent to work on my restoration all went above and beyond and made the whole experience surprisingly easy. I would not hesitate recommending Service Master, and if your lucky Mike will be assigned to your project!

After a leak in our kitchen, our insurance company dispatched ServiceMaster teams to assess the damage, mitigate any further damage from water, and replace the flooring. Dan, our ServiceMaster Project Manager, set our minds at ease right away. We were panicking a bit as it was our first experience with a water leak as homeowners and Dan gave us all the informations we needed, when we needed it. Big thanks to him!Every team that came to work on the emergency and the repair (and there were a few!) was courteous, professional and their was absolutely top notch. If something wasn't right, they would make sure it was right before leaving. Thanks ServiceMaster!
