Place is alright. Nothing special. Bar sucks, very basic and drinks are made without care or accuracy. I give them 3 stars for supporting local artists but thats about the only saving grace.

A fantastic little dive bar and venue. Small, lower stage with adequate floor space and seating area with tables. Absolutely loved the atmosphere during the show I saw. Note that they only offer coat checks for All Ages shows.

Very chill staff, they allowed a friend to charge their phone in line by taking the phone and plugging it inside until doors opened. They give out water bottles at the front of the stage, and offer earplugs for $2 each.$4 coatcheckThey also give free cups of tap water at the bar so you don't have to pay for overpriced venue prices for water.Inside is very cozy/intimate, meaning even if you're in the back, you're still close to the performer.Very close to McDonald's so you can get food after concerts.

Cool to see them supporting smaller artists, nice enough spot even if its a little run down. Their bar is awful though. Very basic and half the drinks we ordered were made with the wrong alcohol or mixer.

Quaint little bar. We had no problem finding street parking for a very reasonable price ($6.75 at the meter). We saw one of our favourite bands, This Wild Life! The bar is small & you do have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to it. We had no problem getting in though, and we loved the cozy, intimate venue for this concert!

I went there recently for the first time to attend the Jakkyboí, Smrtdeath, & Give My Remains To Broadway concert and it was quite lovely. The drinks were well affordable and the atmosphere was nice. My only downside is that they didn't accept credit cards but besides that I will definitely come back here with my friends in the future.

One of the last proper dive bar music venues left in the city! No better place to catch a punk rock or metal show.

Hardluck remains one if the great Toronto live music venues. For musicians - excellent on stage sound, great people to work with and a large stage that'll house everything you need to put on a solid show. For the patrons, this is the club you love to go to. Intimate and real, no gloss or BS. You want to see a band up close and personal - this is your jam. The underground starts here and you will engage with it. I love this place!

A dicey and divey slice of talent far and wide. Raise your glass to the bands who travel so far to give it their all.
