Oroville-Osoyoos Border Crossing

There is almost always a short lineup and the process is efficient. It's well run. The only thing is there needs to be a sign on the road (on the Canadian side) telling people to turn around if they don't want to cross the border. My two aunts in their late 70's accidentally went through the border (just like I did last year) and had to park their car & go through with explaining why they did not have their passports etc. to the agents. Apparently, there were others pulled over, doing the same thing. My aunts were here on holiday and missed meeting up with a friend because of this. Most border crossings have a turn around here or you must go across the border" signage of some kind. There is a double line before we realized we were too far and then spikes behind the car after that

Did my Flagpole" for residency here going through both sides on 2 occasions for Canadian visa's - fantastic experience from agents on both sides.Just remember to park your car prior to entering the facility -100m prior on canadian side and then you can leave everything in your vehicle and pass through with just your ID and documents.Officers were courteous

Crossed the border to get home from Kelowna due to the closures of the highways and I was pleasantly surprised with an officer who was extremely kind and understanding of the situation. Thank you.

From driving in to driving away, my TN application took 90 minutes. Officer was the consummate professional and made the whole procedure painless and stress free.

Best experience within 10 hr we were home with my family safe thank you .

In my error, taking a wrong turn. I wound up at the US border crossing. Unfortunately once you're at the gate you're pretty much committed to cross. And although I had no intentions on entering the United States, I still had to go through the screening process. So mine turned out to be quite lengthy and involved , but credit to the agent working at the crossing... he made the one and a half hour ordeal bearable he was also quite informative and answered any of my questions I had. So kudos to the professionalism that he displayed. Thanks

DO NOT CROSS into CANADA at this BORDER CROSSING ... with anything. you have been warned.

As an explorer, here's my spin... when crossing this border, make sure you have an itinerary or else they interrogate you and waste your time USA side.

Excellent service both heading up to Canada and back home to the US. Very short wait both times.

I go across pretty frequently and have never had a problem. The agents on both sides make it a painless process, even when you get selected for a random inspection coming back from the Victoria Day parade with a very hot and grumpy horse.
