A gentleman, David Dilliott, came to where I work for our inspection. I found him to be quite pleasant. I work in a busy store and this man was both thorough and efficient. He was able to get his job done while not interfering with the daily operation of our business. I would definitely recommend.

Incompetence of the highest order. 1900 Simcoe St. N in Oshawa has been open for nearly 5 years now and the fire alarm is falsely triggered on a regular basis. Onyx does an excessive amount of tests (monthly and an annual) yet the alarm system is still completely screwed. What are you even testing? if a fire system goes off to the point the listeners are numb to it why even bother to have one, nobody evacuates when we hear it anymore.

We had Onyx Fire come to our workplace , give us a detailed quote, a date for the work order to be completed. Great pricing, wonderful team members. Highly recommend them!

I can't believe this company actually exists and continues to exist. Use ANY other fire prevention provider. Avoid this company, whatever you do. They are unprofessional and overcharge without explanation on what they're charging for. Total lack of transparency. Total lack of professionalism. 100% highway robbery.

Week leading up to their monthly testing the alarms go off and after they’ve left. Just this week testing set for March 24th alarms go off 5am on the 20th, today they were here and alarm went off at 10pm Been in our bldg 3 yrs and have ear protection for the kids explicit for how often these alarms go off.

When your are number one at what you do, you will always be a target for past employees to express such negative opinions. It is my opinion that these persons are the people who don’t understand that the client comes first, as we are a service-based company and take care of every client 24/7/365. Everyone has an opinion make your next choice to go with Onyx Fire and form your own opinions!!!Looking forward to reading more positive reviews from positive people who found out why Onyx Fire is the best.

for a second year running we have tried to use onyx for annual restaurant inspection. after a year ago no show to scheduled appointment, rescheduling delays, having them compensate my staff for paid wages due to appointments missed, I gave them another opportunity this year. With this year charge of service being paid a day prior to scheduled appointment, again the next day a no show and no contact with us to inform and plan, staff left waiting again. Allan their sales manger could be no more less accomadating and as of this date we are still waiting on our credit refund from a $486 charge... Stay far away from these guys and I never post reviews

We've been working closely with Onyx recently throughout Windsor, Chatham, London, & the GTA. Their service is prompt and professional with a strong office staff, making Onyx-Fire Protection a 5-Star Company that I am happy to recommend.

I have to express my concerns about this company in hope that this company sees my comments and will improve their awful service. Unfortunately, I was tied up to their service due to the fact that my commercial unit belongs to the condo corporation that has the contract with them so I had no choice . There was a call from my side to drain the sprinkler system in order to perform the sprinkler system work in the unit. The onyx fire confirmed the 8 am arrival on site to perform the drain of the system 2 days in advance. On the day of the performed work nobody arrived until 11am. Because of this the work had to be extended to the next day since my contractors were not able to finish everything on time. The second day also led to the extra call charges for the second time drainage. The conversation about the extra charges with the management of Onyx Fire led to nothing and I got the second day charge. On top of everything, the drainage wasn’t fully done and when sprinkler contractors opened the pipe the water burst causing substantial damage to the finished walls and ceiling. This fact was also brought to the Onyx Fire management’s attention but was left out as a minor issue not requiring any financial reimbursement. When reviewing the invoice I have noticed that the Onyx Fire technician indicated the extra hours of work that I got charged for later on. What can I say? Scammers. I will never work with them ever again by my choice. I would pay more but will get a proper service. People, choose wisely!
