We had an excellent boat trip with BonTours. The staff were the best part, telling us useful information, being fun to chat with, and performing live music. The views were stunning. Highly recommended.

Everybody we met recommended the Western Brook Pond boat tour as their favourite experience in Gros Morne. Unluckily the day we went winds were high and waves were crashing over the bow shortly after departure so the boat had to return to dock. Why then five stars for a trip we didn't get?1) It was without doubt the right call and skippers who put safety first are to be valued.2) We were leaving the next day so couldn't re-schedule but a full refund was automatically and promptly made back to the card.I wouldn't hesitate to book again with Bon Tours should I be lucky enough to return to Gros Morne.

The Western Brook pond tour is magnificent and I was not expecting the walk out there to be as beautiful as it was. Call ahead to make sure your tour is running because they will cancel it if the fog is too thick or they don't have enough people.

We did the Western Brook Pond day hike. This involves getting a boat shuttle to the end of Western Brook Pond and hiking a 12km round trip 480m up the mountain to the perfect picture of the Gros Morne fjords. Unfortunately the weather was against us and we climbed into a cloud. Fortunately the whole experience was amazing, from the nature around us and the amazing views we did get, to the experience, guidance and Newfoundland humour we got from our guide Brad. This hike is not for the faint of heart, and we did have those among us who found it technically and physically difficult. Those who are up for both, this is well worth it.

the actual company itself kind of sucks. we called many many times, left a voicemail, and contacted them on social media, but never got any reply back.when visiting the office in person, there was one person on one phone line who was too busy to talk to us properly. you have to call right as the previous call ends to get through.western brook pond boat tour is good.

Took the day hike up Western Brook Pond booked by BonTours and guided by Out East Adventures and it was absolutely incredible. Our guides were a ton of fun and adapted to the style and needs of the group and engaged everyone. Felt like our friends by the end.Once we arrived at the end of the fjord our guide went into full photographer mode and got amazing shots of everyone in all the best spots. We noticed he even used the different lenses on our iPhone to get different perspectives. Really impressed.One of the best experiences I've had in Newfoundland.

This is a must do if you are in Gros Morne. You have to book the Western Brook Pond tour at Bon Tours in Rocky Harbour and then drive around one hour to reach the Western Brook Pond trail starting point.

Could not have been more pleased with this tour. Was definitely the highlight of our Gros Morne vacation. The tour guide was very informative and funny. They even had my daughter play the spoons to Newfoundland music which was awesome! The walk wasn't bad and took approximately 30 minutes. I would suggest battery operated golf cart rides into the site for disabled and elderly people. There would be no noise/emissions to disturb the wildlife. There is no reason people should miss out on the spectacle of this tour.
