Name not changed,so confused about the place when we get in.it is Japanese style decoration. Food portion No worthy for the price, and not really taste good.lower then i expect toooo much.anyway,nice service.

I frequent Ume yummy almost every week for lunch as i work somewhat close. The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. I always get greeted with a warm smile. The food is great. Yes i have had better elsewhere but for around 10$ taxes in for an amazing soup with noodles and 2 sides it cant be beat. Places like chosabi are almost 2x the price.. I will continue to frequent here for long to come

They have some really nice small side dishes that you don't usually find in most chinese restaurants. The portions for main entrees are on small side unless you get the diy noodles. Ordered the sechuan spicy soup but the soup taste wasnt that great. Bean curd ribs and rice was decent just too little ribs and too much rice. They have mango pomelo sago that was really satisfying as dessert.

Been here a few times. I find this place pretty decent for comfort food. This time I ordered for myself, curry beef tendon on white rice. It's a good serving for one person. Sauce could be a more bold and maybe a tad thicker. Perhaps once that's done it will earn my 5 stars. Till than it's a 4.

The food here is yummy and super affordable. Less than 10$ for a bowl of soup noodles and your choice of topping. The owner is really friendly and service is great. Been back with a couple friends and they love it too.

Food is not good, high priced cause servings even not good enough for 1 person. Dish description on menu and pictures on social media are deceiving, like fried pork chop they served minced pork. Fried Noodles smell like dried fish. Definitely 1 star, not recommended.

Surprise find while visiting from out of town. Came as a party of five for lunch. We we're seated right away by a very sweet older gentleman whom I think was the proprietor, chef, and waiter till his additional server came in. We ordered fried chicken wings, laksa noodles, congee with doughnut, satay beef w/ ramen noodles, fried fish breakfast plate, pork cutlet breakfast, and HK style french toast. All the food came out piping hot and we all agreed tasted just like what we had in HK. Would definitely go back to try more dishes.
