The Source

The only techno gadget spot in the Truro mall. The staff are friendly and good at troubleshooting.The gadgets in the shop are quite nice to look at.The sound equipment available is fairly decent as well.An all around decent shop to buy audio to gadgets to gaming to remote control cars.The only bad thing I can say is that I wish there was even more gadgets and gizmos to look at in there ! Lot of space wasted on generic household electronics and batteries.

Five stars for sales associate, Daniel Boudreau, who works at the Truro store. He knows his stuff; he answered all my questions re several products, was professional, well-spoken, and friendly. Makes it easy to make my purchases at The Source. Thanks, Daniel!

Another five star experience with Tye at Truro Source yesterday. Very knowledgeable and helpful, does his very best to help make decisions!

Service was fantastic. Even though the gift card reader wasn’t working, and I had lost my $25 on that, they gave me $25 off of a set of headphones because of the situation and they were so so helpful. :)

Walked in with cash, just wanted to get a phone case, was in there for 30mins NOT ONE employee helped or even offered to help, to brown to matter I guess…they had plenty of time to chit chat while I walked out tho…shoulda stole something maybe then I would’ve had their attention

Yesterday we bought a sim card in the store and really liked the service. Sales Associate Drew Erskine listened to us carefully, explained the conditions of purchase and use. Helped in solving our problem with the sim card. I recommend everyone to visit this store.

Had a negative experience with one of the employees at The Source today when trying to return a charger, which I purchased a couple weeks ago along with the warranty. The employee was very sarcastic and inferred that I was trying to return a cord I did not purchase at their store. He held up the cord toward another employee and said he had never seen it before. I insisted that I had purchased the charging cord at the same location a couple weeks ago and had him search for my name (then my mothers name) in the system. After searching their system, the employee walked over to where the cord was located in the store and plunked it on the counter in front of me with no explanation. I have been a customer at the Source for many years and have always had wonderful experiences with the staff. Today was the exception. I left the Source today feeling embarrassed and upset for being treated so rudely. Perhaps if I were not a young woman I would have been treated with more respect. Very disappointed.

Tye Shelefontiuk was an exceptional sales person. We went in about our virgin plus account and he went up and beyond to get us answers using his computer and phone talking to virgin. Everything was verified for us and he also set us up with Bell service. Which is due to be hooked up on June 5th 2023. We will be seeing Tye again soon to buy our PS5 for our grandson. I got my Chromecast from here, and then when I brought my mom and to get her headphones we got the same amazing sales clerk. I feel awful because I can't remember his name but he sold my mom Bluetooth Skullcandy headphones that she is in love with. Definitely a helpful and great employee, not to mention I think very handsome too.

The lady that helped me out that night was amazing. After getting my old phone completely wiped clean of all my information at Telus, I went to the Source to get a new phone. I think her name was Gabriella. Amazing customer service .
