Molly's Sewing Machine Service

Wow, Molly was so helpful! My husband and I brought in an old Pfaff that needed help with the thread tension. Molly sat down with us and solved the problem right then and there as well as sharing her vast knowledge of sewing machines. I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend Molly's shop!

My machine did light duty for about 17 years and one day it would not function properly. I found Molly's on-line and she made it like new again. I had a bunch of mending stacking up along with some drapes to hem and I was so happy to be able to rely on my machine once again. Thank you Molly!

I am so fortunate to have found Molly’s!! She was able to fix my Viking sewing machine to where it is running like new! I had taken my machine to another business for maintenance and repairs and told it couldn’t be fixed, “do I want it back”? Ha! Thank you Molly!

Molly is an absolute wiz with machines, she fixed my stupid singer in like two seconds and was super fun to chat with. I think she’s the coolest person I’ve ever met. I want to be her when I grow up.

Molly is such a gem. I’m so grateful for her and what she did for my grandmothers sewing machine. I’m beyond thrilled to learn on such a wonderfully tuned machine. How I found such an amazing person in the process is beyond me. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking to service their machine.

My mother gave me a Viking sewing machine when I left home for college in 1974. I pushed the machine to do a lot and it never let me down. But after years of hard work it needed some repairs. The local repair shop was able to bring it up to speed several times but eventually they said it was shot and there was nothing that could be done. Heartbroken I tucked it away and got an Elna. It was okay but after many years it just couldn’t do what I wanted it to do. Then I met Molly. I took the Elna in and she got the Elna running so smoothly. It was great. I told Molly that I still had my beloved Viking but that it was beyond repair. She said that might not be true!! I brought it in and a couple weeks later I was reunited with my machine, it was just like new! Back home I was sewing away on a project with the viking and I realized that I had slipped back in time. My viking and I were young again and ready to take on a new set of projects together.Thank you Molly for bringing life back to my little sewing machine and me. You’re the best!!

A wonderful shop providing a vital service for the community! The price for a tune-up is better than other places in town, and the folks here are happy to answer questions & are just generally nice to talk to. Highly recommend them for your regular sewing machine maintenance!

I'd say Molly has worked another miracle with my sturdy Sears Roebuck sewing machine--given to me by a friend over 20 years ago when she upgraded to a new machine. I initially took it to a repair place in Bellingham. After about four weeks, I was told the part needed for the machine was no longer made and there was nothing they could do. I took the machine to Molly's Sewing Machine assuming I'd leave it with her in the hopes she would use it for parts. Nope! She fixed it! Adjusted the feed dogs, oiled a few dry places, and removed some dust bunnies. It works beautifully. Like new. No part needed, as I was told at the other place. Thank you Molly.

This little shop is incredible! I brought an old heirloom machine in after being told I was better off getting rid of it. Molly took time out of her day to get my old girl running again and taught me so much in the process. This place is a hidden gem in Bellingham, and I will be back, every time I need anything.
