By far the best shop of its kind in Toronto! As a first time mom it is easy to feel in over your head and clueless about all the baby products that exist...but not at Balafant, they really put me at ease. The staff really take the time to go through products with me and educate me on everything. They made registering for my baby shower an absolute breeze too! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable and are always extremely warm and welcoming every time I go in! Such a charming boutique! It is my go to place for anything I need for my baby.

Balafant Boutik is not only an excellent store with products of outstanding quality for the very young and their parents, but also a place to hang out, meet people, learn about what is happening in the community. On top of this all, they also offer top-notch classes and activities for kids, from circle time to crafts, from language classes to story-time... many of those for free! The asset of the store is the ever-present smile, warmth and positive energy of the staff, that complement their in-depth knowledge of their products perfectly. The kids (and us) are so looking forward to our visits to the Boutik, that we use it as a treat to reward good behaviors... Healthier than candy and just as effective!

This is such an incredible store. The beautiful décor, carefully selected products and friendly and knowledgeable staff are a rare combination in the city. I can always find something unique for my son. We have had great success with their puzzles (all in beautiful cases) and the musical marble maze. This is also my go-to shop for all children’s presents (which they wrap beautifully!). Sanam and Grace always take the time to think about for whom I am buying and help me select the perfect gift. Their crocket grey knit hoodie has become my new favorite baby gift. There will be lots of babies wearing this sweater this spring!

This store is wonderful!If you are looking for a special gift for a baby or child (or a mom), it is the perfect place to go. The concept and design of the store is beautiful, but it is the personalized and expert care that have I received from the owner and staff that makes me go back. I don’t have children and most of the time I don’t have a clue as to what to buy, but the knowledgeable staff are always able to help me find the perfect gift by asking a few questions. I appreciate the way they get excited about the products they sell. I’ve even left with a few things for myself!I also think their programming and resources for parents and children set them apart from other baby stores - you feel a real sense of community when you visit!Thanks Balafant!

AMAZING customer service, I've rarely seen someone as responsive and caring. We purchased a bike from Balafant and there was a defective part - Sanam took care of everything, solved the issue and apologized profusely, even though it wasn't her fault at all! The bike is fixed, and I've found my new favorite child store in Toronto. A+!

Had been searching far and wide for the perfect crib sheet to pair with my baby's nursery! Balafant boutik had it and for a superb price! I was met with kindness from the owner Sanam. I had my order shipped to my in law's place but Sanam didn't want to leave it unattended in the building as my SIL was not home at the time, so she opted to ship it to me instead. The item came wrapped in orange tissue wrapper, topped with a cute little balafant boutik sticker and a thank you note. Amazing service, great communication and wonderful owner. Thank you!

Balafant Boutik is a wonderfully inviting store for Baby's and Toddlers. My wife and I have done a lot of shopping there for both gifts and our own 1 year old. Their selection of unique and cool items keeps us coming back. Great style points to Sanam the owner, she really gets it.Keep up the good work.
