First of all many many thanks to the owner to greet us and giving us a warm welcome.By far this is one the best restaurant in Montreal old port we have ever been - the greatest spot for a quiet and cozy meal. Well done to the chef also the service was quick and attentive. There is no doubt just by the great taste of the food that it was all home made - a true authentic Italian restaurant - a real hidden gem in the old port of Montreal.Make sure to reserve in advance specially on weekends.

I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and the service. The food was almost 2 hours late with no explanation or apologies of why the food was so late. For an italian restaurant, the pasta was tasteless, and the tuna was uncooked. To top it all up, the server messed up our bill!

We spent our last evening in Montreal with a dinner at Salumi Vino and it was excellent. This cozy, beautiful establishment offers well-paced dining and delicious food executed elegantly at reasonable prices. The proprietor/owner serves the food himself and has great recommendations if you need them. The menu is sized to showcase quality and flavor in every dish. We loved everything we had and truly enjoyed our experience.

Came here with a bunch of friends and we all came to the conclusion that Salumi Vino's Food and Wine are equally as fancy as they are tasty. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their menu items and this is the perfect dinner spot.

We had our anniversary dinner here while visiting Montréal and everything about the restaurant was amazing. The ambiance and attitude of all the employees and the owner, Mario, made our experience so much more enjoyable. Mario helped us pick the best wine pairings for our meals and he also added some jokes on the side when I needed help with parking. Would definitely recommend this place to pasta and wine lovers. We can’t wait to come back here
