Just moved to the area and wanted to support a local area paper. Signed up for home delivery and the paper started to arrive at the end of my driveway. Called in and left a request for it to be left at my front door. Received an email saying the request was sent to the appropriate department. I never heard back. The same day I made that request, my paper had not been delivered. So at the same time I made the front door request I inquired about my paper through the automated system. I never heard back so I called to speak to a customer service rep a number of hours later asking if I would receive my paper. The lady said my account had a credit. Nobody had emailed me back about this and I had to ask how the credit was applied? I was told I would get one extra paper when my prescription ended. So basically if I never ended it I would never get my credit. And if I hadn’t called I never would have known. The next morning my paper was not delivered again. I called back and spoke to a customer service rep and just cancelled my subscription. I also emailed and explained why I was cancelling, and still received no response from anyone. So three different times I was essentially ignored. I guess this newspaper doesn’t care about subscribers. I am now looking for another paper.
