Before they are the best of the best for sharpening the skates, they have sharpened my kid’ skates for years, and I was always satisfied. Maybe caused by Covid, I have not meet the young men who did the sharpening before for long time. Their sharpening machines are not totally automatic, the work strongly depends on employees’ skill. In recent, I found they assigned all kids’ skates to an employee. In my recent three sharpening experience, skates were not well sharpened two times. In the last time, she sharpened the good outside edge and inside edge for one skate but sharpened a good outside edge and a bad inside edge for the other skate. after one practice, my kid told me one skate was very uncomfortable to skate, so I have to redo the sharpening. I want to tell the owner of this business, the business need to spend years on building the reputation, but it may lose it very quickly.

Loraine will take a lot of time to make sure you get the right adjustment and skates on your feet. She has a lot of knowledge and experience in figure skating, hockey and power skating. Make sure you ask for her, or you risk not getting the right advice and service. Best skate tech around!
